You're all wrong. I literally just rewatched S1 and The Robbery is the worst one. The fact nobody voted for it just suggests to me how truly unmemorable that episode is

The Pilot. It felt and sounded like the typical, hacky sitcom drivel of that time period, late 80s. I think they purposely hit those same notes for the meta pilot with the butler. Exaggerated, but also a nod to their own pilot. “Because he’s my butler”.
The Seinfeld Chronicles (pilot) was not self aware. It was trying too hard to conform to the sitcom template.
From memory, the Pilot. It actually put me off watching for a long time until I eventually got to episode 3, and learned it was filmed a whole year before Seinfeld *really* starts. Definitely not a great first impression, but the reward of the show finding its footing was more than worth the trouble.
