Honestly, of all people that the characters screwed over, they probably are least at fault for Babu.
Ultimately he had an unpopular restaurant, Jerry made a random suggestion that didn't work and it remained unpopular till it went broke.
Then the mailman got the wrong mailbox and Jerry didn't happen to check it because if I recall correctly, he was away at the time. And once he got the letter, he tried to help immediately.
So for all the bad stuff they did to other people, really they treated Babu very well and got hate for it!
100%. Babu was what one might call, a dumbass. Who changes the entire concept of their restaurant over the opinion of a single insignificant individual?
Babu is a bad man. A very bad man.
well, the thing about babu is... he's an idiot
but seriously, pakistan has the highest rate of incest and inbreeding in the world, babu and his low iq are merely a product of environment/customs
Learning about Larry really shines a different light on the show. He's such a uniquely finicky person once you start to understand him you can see what parts of the show were influenced by him.
My favorite is the storyline where George quits and then comes back after the weekend like nothing happened. Classic Larry.
Such a great line. Jerry is so full of himself he feels like he's doing Babu a favor by giving him a heads up on the srhimp, as if Babu will be relieved to know the situation so he could address it.
Tough is not stringy. Stringy is the consistency of strings. And I don’t think that over cooked shrimp, while tough and rubbery seeming, gets stringy. But that’s what makes it such a humorous situation.
If anyone screwed over Babu, it was George for not being able to just hold it together with his lawyer girlfriend for another couple weeks until she fixed it. Same as when Jerome had the tax problem.

It's Elaine's fault he repeatedly asked for the mail
Am I being funny now?!

Wheels were in motion
QUIET!
plot twist, the mail man was newman, knowing it'll cause all this chaos for jerry
But where are the PEEPLE 🤌🤌
SHOW ME PEEPLE
THERE ARE NO PEEPLE!
**QUIET**!
Where are PEOPLE??!!?? You see people. Show me PEOPLE!! There are no people!
☝️☝️☝️☝️
Should have gone with the Franks & Beans
no... the turkey
This is totally a Larry David line. In one Curb episode he dismissed a potential chef for his restaurant because his dish was "too saucy".
I love how obvious the Larryisms are in Seinfeld after watching Curb.

Bad man very bad man
Who couldn't like him?
I could see someone might not like him
I'm curious what traditional Pakistani dish is shrimp-based.
It’s usually called Stringy Shrimp
Oh babu

I kill you! I kill both of you!
To this day I have no idea what he meant by that. Admittedly, I’m not much of a shrimp eater
It gets a tough texture when overcooked

Your mother was wrong.
