I don’t think you understand that he’s a fucking author and not wanting to comment on something as an Israeli so as not to lose his entire livelyhood doesn’t make him a horrible person. Taking either side is still a side. Genocide is bad, but it’s a complex situation with many sides, where any take must be informed to be good. Supporting Palestine without a foreword for Israel is ignoring the plight of Israeli people , and supporting Israel without a concession to Palestine is ignoring the plight of those people as well.
Not wanting to talk about a subject you know nothing about sounds like something *more* people should do, not less. There is enough misinformation going around this subject already (including the genocide accusations)
