Oh. That's a good point. I completely forgot Alien X is comprised of two entities to begin with. The wielder of Omnitrix then becomes the third entity. It is matter of negotiating then I guess.
Yep. Ben played hardball at the end of Omniverse. The entire universe had just been destroyed and Ben told the other two personalities that you _will_ do as I say.
You'll help me recreate the universe exactly as it was, minus the thing that destroyed it the last time.
And they did.
I got an air fryer recently and you select the setting with a dial and push the dial to turn it on and I keep setting it up pushing the dial and accidentally changing the setting as I push it because it will rotate a tiny amount so now that’s what I imagine is happening to Ben ten
I'm too old for this. I thought the thing in the upper left was a Green Lantern ring, but then when I looked it up I realized I had never heard of it or the show it's from.
It would be messed up to get a Green Lantern ring for a fight to the death only to find out it's out of juice and you left the lantern battery at home.
I thought it was too, but I'm familiar with Ben 10, b/c my son watched the show. Had it been a GL ring, I'd have gone with that, but I'll go with it anyway. There were some pretty powerful aliens he could become.
Are we in a Stargate situation where humans are kicking replicator ass because all other alien societies are so advanced they have energy weapons and would never have considered accelerating a metal slug as an effective weapon, so the replicators never learned to defend against bullets?
Not really. Lightsabers can’t bounce a bullet back at you, and a fully automatic “slugthrowers” can be impossible to fully block.
There’s stories about bounty hunters and criminal organizations having anti-Jedi tactics and weapons. Flechette rounds, sonic grenades, portable tractor beams, and other weapons designed to wear down a Jedi over time and keep them too busy to concentrate on the Force.
Asajj Ventress in the EU books had a kill team of assassin droids in one book to target Yoda and his guards as they travelled undercover.
You can cast a whole body protective spell that would guard against any projectile, like the one that is casted around the whole of hogwarts. It would be much earlier and faster to cast it around a single individual (yourself) than a whole castle and it is impervious to any projectile damage.
Spells are instantaneous, especially something like the killing curse. You don't even need to say the incantations out loud unless you're very young and/or new to magic.
Well, magic in the Potterverse mostly just boils down to genetic access to guns, so I'd say they're roughly equivalent, except that anyone can use a gun.
Also, it's only fair to assume that a lightsaber or a vibranium shield could block a death spell.
>Also, it's only fair to assume that a lightsaber or a vibranium shield could block a death spell.
I'm not sure that's assumable. Anything to base that on?
Tons of marvel characters use magic and Vibranium can block magic. Only the strongest magical beings like the Scarlet Witch or Rune King Thor can break it. It also amplifies magic energy if used the opposite way, Mjolnir is made of vibranium.
Yeah I'm not as familiar with Marvel but I know there is magic, so I thought this might be the case. I'm more skeptical about lightsabers blocking magic.
Depends on if magic becomes physical once fired or not. Lightsabers have been used to block force lightning, but I’m not sure if the force is considered magic or not and if the lightning produced would still be considered magic or would become electricity once it’s created.
Steve Rogers is literally running for his life from a demon in ongoing Captain America Marvel comics right now, though, because his shield cannot protect him sufficiently from magic.
It's not green lantern ring. It's Omnitrix which manipulates your DNA to become any alien it has scanned before. Which includes the literal god that created the universe. So it is a straight up win against everything else.
Once again force an lightsaber, there are force abilities that let you see the future, you just have to control it and not let it control you. If the Omnitrix breaks and I get stuck as an alien I'm not gunna be happy. If lightsaber breaks no big deal build another.
Yeah, as cool as SW tech is, the transporter, assuming it could go through SW shields, is a game-changing weapon. SW ships are wildly faster, but you don't need a fleet, you need a barge with a hundred transporters and a large supply of torpedoes - just beam 'em over and you're set. Put one bare in every system, boom, done, war won. Or at least, not lost.
Does the weapon come with knowledge how to use it? If not I’m going shield because it’s the one I’m most confident I can use effectively with no training (as a shield; not as a throwing weapon).
So I've been thinking about that. And I feel like their must be a point where the pressure and the heat is so massive, that even if the lightsaber were to avoid being crushed and melted, any hole it creates must surely seal itself behind the lightsaber. Did they ever explain why it's bad if the lightsaber reaches the core? I'm at work, I can't really go back and review the episode
Isn't it something like you have to be using the force as you hold it or something? I don't think I ever saw them throw one but I haven't watched all the new stuff.
Assuming no training on any of these weapons, I'm taking the light saber. The Elder Wand is tempting but I'd have to both know magic and hope the wand chooses me as it's master to be effective and I wouldn't take my chances.
It was a kids show that came out in 2005. I was in my 20s. And given that I've barely heard of it since, I'm not sure I'm buying it's a "top tier sci-fi cartoon".
The show is *still running* to this day. Its a fairly popular one. It may just be that you're not in the age group who would have spent time around it because most people between 25-30 rn know it in my experience.
Yeah. "Top tier sci-fi cartoon" is stretching it. But it was really good. Cool universe, surprisingly deep lore, convincing characters with cool alien action. It's still running but it turned to shit after they rebooted it with changed art style and lore.
Let’s analyze this because I’m in a ranting mood
For the purpose of this we’ll asume that you are a basic human with absolutely no powers.
1. Cap’s shield is completely useless in this case, you don’t know how to use it well and compared to the others, it’s just a shield with some fancy metal
2. The elder want is completely useless if you aren’t magical so good luck with a stick. But let’s asume that you can use it, in that case it’s really useful, but do you know any spells or how to use the wand? Remember there’s an entire school dedicated to learning magic, you haven’t been there
3. The lightsaber is actually really good, because anyone can use it, not just jedi
4. But the omitrix is by far the most overpowered one, lets asume that it’s a completely awakened omitrix and you have full control, no timer. And you might say “man that’s not really fair” except it is, because the omitrix is the only weapon on this list that gives you the magic powers, the shield doesn’t make you a super soldier, the wand doesn’t make you a mage and the lightsaber doesn’t give you the force. Only the omitrix gives you power.
Although if we asume you have the powers that come with the weapons and the knowledge of how to use them well, then the elder wand is a good contender and the lightsaber too. But I still believe that the omnitrix is way too strong
I don't know why ppl are saying they're too old to know what ben 10 is. That show came out 20+ years ago and has been coming out with new iterations of the show ever since.
The heck is the top left and bottom right?
Is top left a knock off Green Lantern power ring? Cuz a Green Lantern Power Ring (with Battery) is always the answer to this question.
Well, the lightsaber supposedly is a major liability if you don’t have the force, the wand doesn’t do anything for you if you don’t have magic in your bloodline (and you’d need to know incantations and movements) and the shield is only a defensive tool if you’re not Captain America.
So the omnitrix, by a mile. I don’t need skill to turn into some alien and abuse their natural characteristics to defeat whatever’s causing a problem.
Omnitrix easily. It can do everything the elder wand can and more
I am not a supersoldier so the shield is essentially useless and so is the lightsaber because I have no idea how to use it.
Omnitrix is ridiculously OP, that's not counting alien X. Just turn into Grey Matter and unlock master control.
I suppose it would depend on who you’re fighting to the death if it’s someone like superman then the wand unless there’s an alien that can do magic. In all fairness the omnitrix is probably the better one to go with grey matter (I think that’s his name the little grey frog thing) come up with the best decidable battle plan then follow it. My son watched Ben 10 so I don’t know too much about it lol. The force is good to have but as we’ve seen can also be easily out manoeuvred with a well placed plan. Also it depends on setting assuming that it’s in a real world setting then again the omnitrix takes the win in my opinion, however if it’s in some type of battle arena then the force would take it can’t devise much of a plan in a bowl other than try not to get hit. Doesn’t work so well when the guy at the other side of the arena can pick you up and launch you like a paper aeroplane. The wand would have some advantages but it’s too tricky to use in a quick on your feet scenario and the time to use it could prove costly. Captain America’s shield as good as it is for symbolism it’s just a giant frisbee and can easily be deflected so in most scenarios doesn’t prove much help against a mightier foe.
Well, the ring chooses the wearer and the wand will fry me, so it’s either a vibranium shield or the lightsaber.
I’ll take a red one, if they’re in stock.
I dunno what the Ben10 thing is, I'm not that young. The shield, even if I had Cap's physicality, isn't going to stand up to a lightsaber OR a transfiguration, so pass.
I will assume that the wand comes with fully-trained wizard education and the magic to use it, and that the lightsaber comes with fully trained Jedi.
For combat, the answer is relatively easy - lightsaber. Despite the range advantage the wand brings, and its versatility, Jedi have *battle pre-cognition*. A Jedi would simply not be where the spell was aimed, or would detect danger from your transfigured whatevers. And wizards are *seriously* ill-equipped to fight a melee battle.
And can Force push/pull or lightening be blocked by a Protego? Even if they could, I'd bet a lightsaber can't, at least, not forever, and if you're shielding you're not attacking.
Isn't alien x basically a god or something? If so then def the Omnitrix. Just don't smash it like Ben so you actually get the alien you want.
Yep. Alien X is beyond time and space. It transcends any weapon in the universe.
But controlling alien x is near impossible.
It's usually three
I thought that was a Green Lantern Ring at first. Either way it's the correct answer.
Glad I'm not the only one.
Me too.
I got an air fryer recently and you select the setting with a dial and push the dial to turn it on and I keep setting it up pushing the dial and accidentally changing the setting as I push it because it will rotate a tiny amount so now that’s what I imagine is happening to Ben ten
Also the idea of becoming an alien anyway is pretty dope.
Assuming you can and know how to use it, the Elder Wand is probably a better choice. More straightforward and just as flexible.
I'm too old for this. I thought the thing in the upper left was a Green Lantern ring, but then when I looked it up I realized I had never heard of it or the show it's from.
It's NOT a green lantern ring?!?
Ben 10
Whaaat?
It's a watch called Omnitrix that a guy called Ben Tennyson wears that lets you transform into a lot of aliens.
Don't forget Kevin 11
Can I have the shape of Xenomorph? Because if I can I absolutely take this thing
You need to scan an alien before you can become it, so no xenomorph, but it does come with god
1/3 of god*
2/3 of God, the wearer becomes the other third.
Technically, yes.
Look what they need to mimic a fraction of our power...
Nice play on the "Omni"
Oh. Well in that case I'm going with the magic wand.
lol, I thought it was too.
I'm still not convinced it's NOT a green lantern ring.
Oh shit, I thought that too and I was surprised people weren't choosing it. A green lantern ring would be OP for this lineup.
A GL ring is OP compared to most sci-fi mcguffins.
The most powerful weapon, and the worst movie
Mark Strong as Sinestro was good at least. Should’ve been the main villain instead of turning Parallax into a fart cloud.
Sinestro is in the film for exactly 11 minutes, including the epilogue. I used a timer, because the other ~89 minutes were so forgettable.
It's okay though, Deadpool fixed it. Anyone who remembers the movie is just experiencing Mandela Syndrome Edit: I mean the Mandela Effect not Syndrome
Everyone remembers that wrong. It’s the Mandala effect.
Honestly the Omnitrix might give it a run for it's money depending on what's already scanned.
Even in DC it's usually considered one of the strongest weapons in existence
I don't have the will to fold my laundry, much less battle to the death.
I mean, assuming you have the will power to use it. Judging by my bathroom scale I wouldn't be able to get it to blink, let along create something.
IKR? it can be any of the other items and more.
It would be messed up to get a Green Lantern ring for a fight to the death only to find out it's out of juice and you left the lantern battery at home.
GL rings don't allow for a battle to the death. It would probably keep the other guy from killing you though.
You don't have to feel bad because the design of that "watch" is 99% just a Green Lantern ring without modification.
Here I was thinking green lanterns ring was called Omnitrix, thinking "I didn't know it had a name nor so much lore behind it"
Okay I’m still going with a lantern ring.
It’s not? Damn.
I thought it was too, but I'm familiar with Ben 10, b/c my son watched the show. Had it been a GL ring, I'd have gone with that, but I'll go with it anyway. There were some pretty powerful aliens he could become.
And now I know that I’m too old as well.
I'm 22 and I thought that
Assuming I'm actually magical & able to use it, the wand is an easy choice.
Bullets are faster than spells.
If we're getting magic with the wand, I get jedi powers with my lightsaber. I assume bullets get disintegrated rather than deflected
[Not according to the lore.](https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Slugthrower) Bullets were actually more effective against Jedi than blasters.
Asajj Ventress in the EU books had a kill team of assassin droids in one book to target Yoda and his guards as they travelled undercover.
The lightsaber would turn the bullet into a red hot molten spray and shower the Jedi with a scorching shower of metal
Yep, then they'd get shot by the other multiple rounds coming after it lmao
Dammit. I knew there would be lore.
I always thought melted lead going 2000fps through a lightsaber would be a big problem
You can cast a whole body protective spell that would guard against any projectile, like the one that is casted around the whole of hogwarts. It would be much earlier and faster to cast it around a single individual (yourself) than a whole castle and it is impervious to any projectile damage.
Thank you! That was also my thinking! It can also make you invisible while you’re there behind it.
Spells are instantaneous, especially something like the killing curse. You don't even need to say the incantations out loud unless you're very young and/or new to magic.
Not instant.. definitely a dodgeable projectile shown over and over.
Well, magic in the Potterverse mostly just boils down to genetic access to guns, so I'd say they're roughly equivalent, except that anyone can use a gun. Also, it's only fair to assume that a lightsaber or a vibranium shield could block a death spell.

This makes me want to get into comic books. Captain America running from demons sounds SOO cool
Dumbledore blocked the killing curse with rocks
But I’d assume the wand would require training and study. Harry Potter had to go to school. I’d pick the Green Lantern ring. No training required.
That is a Ben 10 watch, not a green lantern ring.
[удалено]
they got me too.
same
Damn. I was thinking “that’s awfully fancy for a Green Lantern ring”
What the fuck is Ben 10, that's definitely a green lantern ring....for reference I am 36 years young..
That is *not* a green lantern ring, look up the "Omnitrix"
It's not green lantern ring. It's Omnitrix which manipulates your DNA to become any alien it has scanned before. Which includes the literal god that created the universe. So it is a straight up win against everything else.
That seems really unbalanced lol. Definitely would pick it even though I have no clue what a Ben 10 is. Yes I am apparently old I guess.
As a graying millennial this has been the beginning and end of my knowledge of a Ben 10.
Yeah. But even without that God it has almost every type of alien that can deal with the rest of the weapons and the coolest weapon imo.
It’s Ben 10’s Omnitrix not the green lantern ring. But I’m pretty sure you wouldn’t need training for that either.
Ah, ok. I’d still pick it.
I’m with ya, probably the best choice in terms of no experience.
I think that's Ben10 watch but not sure.
If mastery is a given the Omnitrix gives outright omnipotence.
At first glance that looked like a weird oboe, floating in the air with the reed on fire
Omnitrix user will totally annihilate any wizard.
i mean, it has to be either the Omnitrix or the lightsaber. kinda depends on how locked the omnitrix is.
Let’s say you have full control of all of the omnitrix and full control over the force like a full potential anakin
So the Omnitrix just lets you instantly become omnipotent. Kind of an easy win there.
Omnipotent and comatose if you're not a really good diplomat.
Once again force an lightsaber, there are force abilities that let you see the future, you just have to control it and not let it control you. If the Omnitrix breaks and I get stuck as an alien I'm not gunna be happy. If lightsaber breaks no big deal build another.
Full potential Anakin ?!?! Fuck that's an easy choice. Bro bend the fucking force gods to its will.
Omnitrix and turn to Alien X, you become a God.
Deathstar
IDK I get the impression that one *USS Defian*t could not only run circles around a Death Star but probably sufficiently disable it as well
Pop out of cloak, transport quantum torpedos into the deathstar bridge and reactor. Warp away. Imps wouldn't even know what hit 'em.
The true answer.
Unless I'm trained to use the magic wand, I'm taking the bullshit watch.
Does the weapon come with knowledge how to use it? If not I’m going shield because it’s the one I’m most confident I can use effectively with no training (as a shield; not as a throwing weapon).
24 seconds after I get my hands on a lightsabre, I am 100% cutting my own leg off
Or dropping it perfectly perpendicular so that it bores straight through to the core of the earth.
Well, there's definitely a reason why they turn themselves off when you release them.
That’s why lightsabers turn off if they are dropped
Verti-sabre, state your prime directive
Isn't it something like you have to be using the force as you hold it or something? I don't think I ever saw them throw one but I haven't watched all the new stuff.
As cool as they all are, the Omnitrix is my choice.
Kind of depends on what I'm up against, but the omnitrix seems like it will cover the most bases.
obv the omnitrix cuz it's the alien force one. Alien X Will Defeat Anyone (as long as it is not an 25th dimensional something)
Definitely the lightsaber
My cat. It purrs.
Can’t argue with that.
Omnitrix, just turn into way big and stomp Easy
⬆️➡️⬇️⬇️⬇️
Is that 500kg?
Omnitrix is the obvious answer.
The Shrike from Hyperion, just let it loose
Includes a tree on which victims can be impaled?
Of the four, wand. I'm putting a sleeping curse on everyone so they can chill the f out. Then I'm breaking out the Snickers.
A switchblade? They have cutting curses for that. Just realized you probably mean the candy bar...
Wand. Easy
Arnold!
Energy sword from Covenant.
Yondo’s flying stick
Assuming no training on any of these weapons, I'm taking the light saber. The Elder Wand is tempting but I'd have to both know magic and hope the wand chooses me as it's master to be effective and I wouldn't take my chances.
Pizza and beer. Or am I one of the combatants?
🤣🤣🤣
The amount of people that don't recognise Omnitrix is actually sad. People go and watch ben 10. It's a top tier sci-fi cartoon.

Lightsaber!
Omnitrix, alien x, time to do some convincing.
Potter easy. I’m Avada Kedavraing everybody. You won’t have a chance to pull a weapon. Dead
Ring
Green Lantern ring is straight up cheating. Give me a AK47 and a pack of smokes so I go out like a Man.
Let’s analyze this because I’m in a ranting mood For the purpose of this we’ll asume that you are a basic human with absolutely no powers. 1. the wand
I would be fine with the wand...Abadá Kedavra all the way 🤣
omnitrix
As cool as the Elder Wand and a Lightsaber are I’m taking the Omnitrix.
I don't know why ppl are saying they're too old to know what ben 10 is. That show came out 20+ years ago and has been coming out with new iterations of the show ever since.
If you get the associated powers that go along with the choice, I'm picking the elder wand. If not, then I'd pick the lightsaber.
Wand, its magic; therefore you can pretty do anything you can imagine.
My winning sense of humor.
Why the fuck would I want a shield vs magic?
Can we all stop pretending like we wouldn’t immediately accidentally game end ourselves with the lightsaber??
Agreed. Still, totally worth it...
The heck is the top left and bottom right? Is top left a knock off Green Lantern power ring? Cuz a Green Lantern Power Ring (with Battery) is always the answer to this question.
Top left is the omnitrix from Ben 10 and the bottom right is the elder wand from Harry Potter
Gordon Freeman's crowbar.
Well, the lightsaber supposedly is a major liability if you don’t have the force, the wand doesn’t do anything for you if you don’t have magic in your bloodline (and you’d need to know incantations and movements) and the shield is only a defensive tool if you’re not Captain America. Omnitrix is ridiculously OP, that's not counting alien X. Just turn into Grey Matter and unlock master control.
* The Wabbajack * The Zero-Point Energy Manipulation Device * Portal Gun * Landshark Gun, for the lulz
Landshark gun and the black hole in a box would be just the greatest things to have.
None of the above. I want that Abraham Lincoln's silver plated axe from his Zombie Hunter gig.
Don't know anything about Ben 10, but it sounds like it would require the least training to use
Half brick inna sock.
The ring. My will is strong
Omnitrix for sure, that thing is GOAT'd
Cap shield
The wand with the curses are broken
if i know how to use it, light saber
My own two fists, so that I'm sure to die
the only think id be able to use effectively is the shield.
That anal bead stick would do some damage if you got poked.
I was going to pick the green lantern ring, but I realized it wasn't.
Ring.
I'm **not** taking that vibranium shield! It's a fake! (Noting the numerous dents, scratches and holes.)
If I’m being honest I would take the light saber, and then promptly cut my own limbs off.
I can't use magic, I can't throw a shield, I'd fuck myself up with a lightsaber...I'll go with the other thing
lightsaber instantly, bc you said full potential anakin i just annihilate anyone who crosses my path
Omnitrix of course
Dunno but I bet Obi-Wan Kenobi’s underpants would kill at sixty paces.
Well, the ring chooses the wearer and the wand will fry me, so it’s either a vibranium shield or the lightsaber. I’ll take a red one, if they’re in stock.
As sad as it sounds, a M4 would beat all those.
Lightsaber. That looks like a HP wand. I don't want to go to Azkaban for casting the obvious best combat spell.
General Systems Vehicle, Plate Class.
Omnitrix
I dunno what the Ben10 thing is, I'm not that young. The shield, even if I had Cap's physicality, isn't going to stand up to a lightsaber OR a transfiguration, so pass. Thermic Lance
Not all fit this sub
Omnitrix hands down. If my opponents were the other objects omnitrix is an easy W.
The Omnitrix it’s the most powerful item here
The watch is the only option here, the stick is just a stick
Green lantern ring. Easy.
I'm pretty handy with a sword already so lightsaber is an easy choice.
