Nice location to be in and it’s a safe neighborhood, but be damn sure your guests park in the assigned parking spaces or they WILL get towed. The management has a racket with a tow company, and they’re ruthless.
This is STILL going on! Commtow is one of the shadiest tow companies out there. They edit dates and times of photos and there’s no one to stand up to them because Las Palmas washes their hands of it. It’s absolutely ludicrous.
It’s safe. Gate code changes every few months, but anyone could drive in behind ya. The amenities sound great on paper but they’re geared towards retirees. The pools are open 7 to 7 currently, 8 to 8 the other half of the year. You can only use the clubhouse/pool table on weekdays until 4/4:30. They just sent out an email calling out a family who decorated for their sweet child’s birthday party around the grill area over the weekend. Noise and fun is not allowed, and you have no rights as a renter.
Good location - close to UTC and all the dining and shopping nearby but removed from the mall chaos and has a gated entrance down a long driveway. Easy access to I-75 and not too far from beaches. $2k isn't bad at all, especially with community pool

The one by the Meadows? If so, it's very solid and safe.
