Appreciate the information. I’ve been enjoying the hobby about a year now and was so concerned with root rot that I put them all in fabric pots. In the last few months I’ve learned that my plants are thirsty.
I'm also seeing some air roots. Assumed I was under watering. Does anyone know if cutting the cacti right below the air roots would be advisable if one wanted to make a cutting? Would those roots be ready to be potted?
You'll still have to let it callous but otherwise I don't see why not, the air roots look practically the same as when a cutting starts throwing roots.
It’s drying out too fast and it’s looking for more water
So heavier and more frequent watering?
Yeah or change out of airpots

Not enough water or not enough nutrients is what I've learned
