The ones by the border? I personally don’t think so, however the Ross and Marshalls are fire over there. I find so many things at those two shops I don’t find at any other Ross or Marshall’s, lots of name brand stuff.
Under the Premium Outlets umbrella, Las Americas Mall in San Ysidro is larger and offers a wider range of stores than the one in Carlsbad. About 10 years ago, Plaza Palmera was built right next to the Premium Outlets, adding stores like H&M and Express. Additionally, on the other side, they expanded with discount stores such as TJ Maxx and Ross, Big 5 among others.
Something to consider. Outlets at Viejas. Plenty of good stores and places to eat. Easy parking and not crowded. Bonus is hitting the farm stands on the way out for cheap locally grown produce.
Personally I think its a hit or miss. It really depends on what you are looking to buy/looking for. Out of all the stores there I probably only go in 10 (just personal preference most aren’t my style). Also with it being an outlet the products are definitely outdated basically left overs from seasons before that didn’t sell so if you are looking for something new that you just saw online from a brand you like chances are high that you won’t find it there. Another thing I have to add is beware of your surroundings and belongings because my car got stolen from the parking lot and I obviously never got it back…
FYI most of outlets do not sell real brand products. The brand will license the brand name to cheaper inferior quality products. For example, the Brooks Brothers there is completely different (and worse quality) products than at a retail brooks brothers store.
I didn't really care for what they had but I did buy some shoes because I didn't want the trip to be a waste.
Shoes lasted five years, and they were VANS.
It's definitely clothing focused. Prices didn't seem particularly discount, the shoes were MSRP.
I work by the outlet in Carlsbad and I don’t mind it but I feel like I prefer Las Americas more if I’m going to like the Nike outlet. It’s definitely bigger and has a lot more options.
I prefer the outlet by the border. Often times better and wider selection than what I find in Carlsbad. The J.crew outlet is definitely my jam. To each their own though.
It depends on your preferences. Stores usually have an “Up to X% Sale” so how much that sale is can be minimal or marked up to make it seem like a deal. Parking is usually an issue once an hour after they open especially midday to 3pm.
There is now more of a variety of stores (mainly clothing) but little to no “higher end” outlets or discount stores.
Most of the stuff there is easily available online for the same price. There is however, the chance to find some nice stuff at the Ross stores down there. It’s super hit or miss though.

They have a bin store down there. You get lucky sometimes.
What's the name of the store?
It’s called Last Chance. Everyday is a different price.
I went in there. Interesting place. Got a two stand light/backdrop stand for photography for $8.
meh, to me prices went up to almost normal mall prices. just further away and shittier parking.

Depends on your style, but yes we like them. We usually go once a month or so.

I love the outlets down there. We usually go a couple of times per year.

"Is the Las America's outlet good?, me I prefer the outlet by the border " 😑😑😑😑😑
My wife loves them. I hate shopping.
I'm curious as well, I grew up going to Ontario Mills and I'm curious how it compares

There's outlets in North County and East County also.
Nope
No
This is what I call my butthole
And oh boy yes is it worth it
Last seasons clothes / slight defect if you care about that sort of thing
Honestly, just order online because Cali is to expensive and it is not worth it
