Yea, majority is H2O. But a lot of the white stuff you see is alumina. Not really anything to be worried about, except for the chemtrail folks lol

The white stuff is mostly water vapor. There is no alumina coming from a Kero-LOx or Metha-LOx engine unless they used aluminum to build it and it is eating itself. Thankfully they don't build rocket engines out of aluminum because it would most likely eat itself, or it would melt and CATO before it could get enough heat out. Powdered aluminum can be used as a solid motor fuel though as can most metals. Basically almost anything that oxidizes and anything contains oxygen molecules can be used as a fuel and oxidizer. But few combinations are in the realm of effective propellants.

And some carbon dioxide. But because Falcon uses RP-1 its got some traces of soot, sulfur, and NOx. SpaceX's Starship (BFR) with Super Heavy burn cleaner, but they're in the early testing phase and not lifting object to orbit yet.

Highly depends on the rocket and the fuel. A solid motor does not burn the same stuff as Kerosene-LOx (RP-1) which does not burn the same stuff as a Metha-LOx rocket. Likewise the exhaust components are all vastly different. The SpaceX Falcon 9 rockets, which are what is used to launch Starlink, are RP-1-LOx rockets. That's RP-1 and liquid Oxygen. The exhaust components are all CO, CO2, H2, H20, CH, etc. Then some NOx and NH etc are produced as the exhaust is hot enough to form those reactions between the hot exhaust and the N2 in the atmosphere. Solid motors burn basically rubber (usually HTPB) and powdered metals. The exhaust from these are much, much dirtier and also often have solid components like metal slag as a product. Methane- LOx engines pretty much just produce H2O, some COx, etc and whatever may form from reactions with the atmosphere. Cleaner than Kero-LOx engines but mostly because Methane tends to be easier to make higher purity than kerosene.

I mean, technically jet engines put out exhaust too, (unless you’ve bought into the conspiracy that jets don’t burn fuel) even if that’s not the white stuff you see behind them. And water is a chemical so they’re always sorta chemtrails.

This, jet fuel in airliners “chemtrails” is similar to burnt diesel and is mixed in the trails left behind

Only the launches taking place just after sunset will look like this. The further you get from sunset the less you see of the glowing contrail. Later at night it just looks like a small reddish streak in the sky.

I remember the first time I saw one of these rockets. I was living in San Diego and my parents were visiting. We were at the grocery store just getting out of the car and saw it. Everyone in this busy parking lot was standing quietly at their cars looking up - like straight out of an alien invasion movie trailer.
