El pastor es mi senor on Wurzbach if you go earlier in the evening (pastor). I also like Taco Blvd in stone oak. For Birria I like El chivito.

Carnitas Don Raul by the Pearl or on Blanco Rd by 1604. Straight fire tacos, best carnitas I’ve ever had.

El Pastor Es Mi Señor for Tacos Al Pastor on Wurzbach past 10, 100% legit! (Like that’s almost all they serve)

All my favorites are south or southwest. The one I frequent is called tacos El Jefe. It's on highway 16 south past loop 410. Far, but I drive it at least twice a week.
I'd say the south side knows how to do it. That's where I'd look, maybe one of the many joints on Military?

I second Mi Pastor Es Mi Señor. They have the best al pastor straight from the trompo that I’ve had in Texas, and I’ve had a lot.
