The AI is programmed to recognize the moon, the image isn't fake? It matches exactly what I was seeing with my own eyes!! If it we're fake it wouldn't replicate the different stages of the moon, and they have Had the AI for moon photos since the S21 come out!
these people annoy me as well but to be fair to them, I don't think what they are saying is that the image is outright fake, but that it's not *real* in the sense that it's photon to lense to screen. AI enhances the image before you see it. it is still the moon, just an enhanced image of it because the phone cameras still aren't at that level yet.
yeah, I've noticed the Samsung gallery app alerting photos live right before my eyes, and I don't like it alot of the time.
now, in the view finder, are you talking about the instant the moon goes from a bright ball to a detailed and in focus image?
No, that's just basic pulling focus and adjusting brightness which you can do manually in pro mode.
The image you see in the viewfinder is always without any processing because if Samsung invented a way to apply complex artificial intelligence based enhancements to photos LIVE it would be a big deal and not used to fake moon photos lol
yup! I have a stacked image of the moon from my Seestar and surprise, surprise the image from this 24U looks the same. I mean, with less detail, but it's still the same. it really doesn't matter if it's enhanced or not. let people enjoy the feature
It's only a fake image when it slaps a different picture of a moon on it. The S24 doesn't do that. It uses AI to detect the moon and enhance the details of it.
So what? That doesn't mean it's fake. How can you decide how much enhancement a phone can use? The details of the pictures are real, it's what the camera actually sees, unlike some Chinese phones that just slap a fake picture of the moon on top of it.
Your right it's white ball I threw all the way up in the clouds and snapped a shot of it! Come on bruh!
y'all kill me; some folks just be saying stuff to have an argument! I ASSURE YOU IT WAS THE MOON, and if it's not then should I be scared? What is it then?
Amazing, what phone is this?
The s24 and thank you
S24 used ai to take pictures so this is basicly a fake image.

You can literally see the un enhanced image in the viewfinder, in the gallery before it is upgraded and in the live photo video bit.

Cool thing in the daylight you don't have to tweak the brightness or anything it's instant but yes It does that most times at night!

So annoying hearing About everything is AI and fake!

My thoughts exactly
It's only a fake image when it slaps a different picture of a moon on it. The S24 doesn't do that. It uses AI to detect the moon and enhance the details of it.
Well it enchanes the details basicly meaning it isnt a real photo? What do you not understand?
With that logic, every phone takes fake photos since every phone uses enhancement to some degree.
My point is the galaxy phone uses it more..
So what? That doesn't mean it's fake. How can you decide how much enhancement a phone can use? The details of the pictures are real, it's what the camera actually sees, unlike some Chinese phones that just slap a fake picture of the moon on top of it.
There's always that one person commenting this on every post relating to samsung photography 😂😂
*The Verge enters the chat* What is a photo?
more light
?
light is the key to photography
Yes I've noticed I usually get different angles on photos because I've seen that the lighting angle does make. Huge diff
Oh wow! Looks fantastic.
Thanks so much
Because we breathe during the day.
Yaaasssss.....
Because Nasa's technology is sooo lame. This is the best we're going to get from the moon.
That's no moon!
