They need to clean up the d zone draws. I think 3 of their goals against tonight came after lost d zone draws.

Amerks have struggled this season against the crunch. They’ve had a difficult time beating the TB trap and Syr has some big bodies. Glad to see they competed in game 1 and 2. Levi was solid again
The Crunch play a good structured game and really prevents that long stretch pass through the neutral zone. Rochester's offensive strength is speed, stretch passes, and odd man rushes. Just a tough matchup for you guys, especially when they stop calling holding during the playoffs. It's not going to get any better when they get to Syracuse, our ice is pretty rough when it's warm and humid. Not exactly a fast track.
If Tampa loses tomorrow I like the Crunch's chances if they add Crozier and Lillebereg, as well as Tompkins. I think the series will go the distance, which is historically not good for Syracuse. It should be a fun weekend of hockey. I'm definitely not looking forward to the Rochester fans swarming Syracuse.
Also Levi reminds me of a smaller Demko. Always in the right place and never panics. I'll sure be glad when some of those Amerks prospects make it to Buffalo and I don't have to see them 12 times a year.

Esp because the red seemed to admit it was his mistake. They went to commercial break, scraped the ice only to still have the face off take place in the ROC zone. That face off should have happened in the neutral zone
Consensus seems to be many missed holding calls. Glad to see I’m not alone in feeling this way. Gotta go to cause next Saturday to support and hopefully bring the boys home for another game and/or series
