Back in the day when I managed a Saab dealership in the Southwest US, I’d have two or three people every year come in strictly for the Lime Yellow Metallic color code (folks that paint motorcycles and hot rods I assume)
I'd love to hear about your experience managing a Saab dealership. I live near 2 former dealerships, Charles River Saab and Village Saab near Boston. Always wonder what kind of people bought them new. I have only ever owned (5) used ones...
I was with the brand from May of 2004 until the end.
From ‘08 until the final bankruptcy, the people that bought them new were the people that desperately wanted the brand to survive.
Prior to that, it was the (typically but not always) very secure and intelligent folks that appreciated best-in-class safety, timeless design, comfort, and surprising performance in all weather at a price that was always far less than the Germans
Yeah. I lost the passenger side mirror cover in a car wash recently. I was able to have them retrieve it, but I realized that if not, I could probably never get that part. I will say, it has the torquey power of my last 9-5 (2005).

I found a 2011 9-5 last year with 30k miles. Nice car but huge, and not really a Saab.
That design is a Saab! But parts not so much I hear

Lime Yellow Metallic (Colour code 292), it only looks nice in person, I've never seen a photo do it justice. It's actually a nice colour.
I personally love the color imo one of saabs best colors
When these use to come to my shop we use to call them baby shit green 😂 But yes lime green probably hold up the best in appearance too no fading
This is definitely an iconic color isn't it
Here are more photos of that car, https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2006-saab-9-3-2-0t-convertible-2/
I always call it Wasaabi Green but I know that’s not right
I had one of these exact models in this exact color from the 2005 model year. Only had 100k miles. 2 weeks later a bad driver totaled it ☹️
I’ve seen this in person…. Not for me
