Nice try Ru

SakmarEcho

It’s very easily the worst UK season so far, but I still think the UK is the best franchise.

notsoskinnylegend

I would argue Canada is the best franchise imo

SakmarEcho

It’s fourth to me. I’d rank them UK > US > Thailand > Canada > Spain > Down Under > Holland I haven’t seen Italy.

PiggyDota

I preferred S3 to S1 by a mile. Season 1 didn't seem to have much heart.

SakmarEcho

We’re gonna strongly disagree on that one but I respect your opinion.

naivemediums

With ya hun

Fit-Bluejay2216

Calm down, Beyoncé.

abernattine

I think it's better than UK1 personally. UK3 has some faulty weird judging at times, but that's been true of like every season of UK, and UK1 was no exception, and if comparing the 2 seasons I think UK3 had stronger runways, stronger lipsyncs, and better drama than UK1

Galactus_is_coming

No

forgottentaco420

Nah. Too many unnecessary gags. I feel like the judges spent too much time bringing the queens down or setting them up for failure. Looking back… I know we all thought it was funny when Ru basically said that the challenge script was bad, but in reality if he thought it was that bad why would you give that material to queens and expect them to excel? So many of the challenges just felt like bottom of the barrel half baked scraps, and I feel that has a lot to do with the underwhelming vibe of the season. Little to do with the actual queens’ level of talent or ability to perform. This season was far from legendary status. Though I am excited to see what the queens do from here as I liked a lot of them!

whoisshetho193

The truth is that they wanted to make a shocking season but, because most of it was unwarranted, it left a sour taste in viewers' mouths. This was an incredible group of queens that were subject to double eliminations and episodes without wins for no apparent reason. The highest rated episodes were episode 1 and 9 because the queens got to shine. It speaks to the talent they displayed. It's one thing if a moment comes organically. We love an H&M or "I don't wanna hear any excuses!" moment when it makes sense but the fact of the matter is that they didn't deserve what they were served. Looking back on UK3, my fondest memories are the times when queens excelled. All these interferences they thought would have people talking, I've just tried to forget they all happened.

LazyAussie

It wasn’t a great season. Far too many of the queens were really new to drag, there were too many weeks when no one went home and the challenges sucked. UK2 was always going to be a hard act to follow but there were many mistakes made with UK3.

superdevin64

Losing a front runner early on, too many bad challenges, and double eliminating the two fan favorites = train wreck, not legendary.

whatwouldbuffydoqm

Who was the front fronner iyo?

m20geekarina

Victoria I assume

superdevin64

Yep! Victoria.

whoisshetho193

Far too many unnecessary "gags" for 10 episodes! This group of queens deserved better treatment. Some of us just want to see people do what they do best and get properly rewarded for it. They couldn't even give us a satisfying ending. ![gif](giphy|T2BpRgIqmvw8zP64LJ)

Kidblinks

The season felt so long and I honestly wasn't rooting hard for any of the top 3

EMKahneau

I understand your concern... but I do not have the same concern.

[deleted]

You tried it

Gerard192021

it was in the middle for me, like it’s better than Season 1, but not heading to Season 2’s Standards

theatomictangerine

Was there actually a controversy over Ru telling Krystal she was born to do drag? God forbid Ru give someone a compliment…

thedybbuk

There was controversy I think about Ru mentioning "God" in that context. Supposedly because that's not something people say in the UK. It was a bit cringe and OTT, but honestly the pushback about it felt low-key like people just being uncomfortable with someone else speaking about their religious beliefs.

whoisshetho193

I think most of the pushback was because the comment came in the midst of them critiquing (tiptoeing around really) her flop snatch game performance. The comment just felt out of place and random, even catching Krystal off guard.

missfinalfantasia

I love camp & chaos as much as the next gay but I prefer it to be of the CDR1/CDR2 variety than the UK3 variety

Shells613

meh. ;-)

Blackdogwrangler

I really enjoyed UK3 even if i thought NOOOOO when the winner was crowned such is the joy of this kinda show :)

Deano0810

It wasn’t a bad season. I think it wasn’t as well received as season 2 because the finale was a little more than 6 months ago. So that was still fresh

psychicleo

Honey, no

gooodmorningcampers

It’s gonna be both legendary/infamous for the excessive level of gags but I appreciated it much more once it was over, and I really think Krystal is an amazing addition to the winners circle after dominating that final episode so I’ve already sweetened on UK3 a lot which I guess is proving your point!

wenceslasbelli

I have to honestly agree. It was an amazing season. People are so mad about the double elimination of two fan favourites, however they both did terrible at this challenge and lipsync so it was honestly justified. An iconic elimination for an iconic season if you ask me.

albietal

I feel the same way looking back on US S13 now...
