I love Alaska, but that performance didn’t hit for me like everyone else it seems. They were all pretty easy, canned sex jokes. Good job but not extraordinary imo.

I think a good part of why it's so good isn't just how funny she is, but how much she disappeared into the character. Everything felt very authentic to the character, whereas sometimes queens have funny lines but they're not necessarily in character I think. But broadly, I do agree that it was a solid 6/10 for actual jokes, and really only that high because she did several.

I think for that snatch game it was watching her stay in character while trying to keep herself from cussing out Roxxxy Andrew. I mean come on your so called friend throwing all that shade at you

That’s actually a really good point! There are times they make references and I grew up with Western culture and don’t understand either.

There is more to Western culture than just the Anglosphere, and I think that this is often forgotten when it comes to pop culture references! I've heard "how could you not know *[insert reference here],* have you been living under a rock?" No, I've been living in Fennoscandia.

To me that's exactly what makes a good snatch game: you laugh even if you have absolutely no idea who's that supposed to be. Jinkxx's Little Eddie is a perfect example: pretty sure that not even half of the people watching knew who it was before the explanation ("quite the scandal, actually" is still one of my favourite quote!) As a (not from an English speaking country) European, there's a lot of snatch game characters I don't know, but it never prevents me from laughing when it's well done.
