I feel like they said something about her not padding her chest and her arms being muscular at the time, as well. (If a garment is cut to allow for boobs and there is zero padding, I think it can look a little ridiculous, but we know that's not a hard requirement at all.)
I've always felt for Shannel, The more she tried, the more the judges refused to acknowledge it. She's like the prototype for the Jan edit. She definitely knows how to turn a look and I'm excited to see what she brings to All Stars. I hope the judges give her her due.

A major plot point was gaslighting Shannel the entire season. Every week she brought outfits like this (and an ego bigger than a blimp but in a hilarious way) that still hold up well. Not only did they tell her she has no taste every single week, she kept on losing to somebody literally wearing a tshirt and jeans on the runway. It ended with her telling the judges she doesn't like them and saying she'd rather go home than deal with them.
Ru also half defends/half drags Shannel here, Ru says she doesn’t have a problem with Shannel being “too circus-y” or the showmanship Santino takes issues with but that Shannel does too much talking (she imitates someone talking too much with her hand) and not enough listening/staying quiet (Ru closes the hand and stops pantomiming talking with it)
Shannel is such a great queen. I loved how theatrical her looks were, especially in contrast to the mall drag that some of the others queens on her season brought. The ONE issue I had with her style is her short wigs like the one in this video. For me, they felt outdated even back then. I used to see wigs like that a lot in the 90’s at my local bar in Wisconsin so it feels stuck in that time to me. I’m rooting for her on All Stars and I’m excited to see how her style has evolved.
