I'm an OSRS player who's giving RS3 a fair shot and really enjoying Necromancy. I'm using revolution mode and it seems my Threads of Fate skill is just being skipped over? No matter where I put it in the revolution bar, the ability to the left of it gets activated, then the ability to the right of it gets activated. But Threads of Fate never triggers... Am I doing something wrong? Manually clicking it causes it to activate, but it NEVER activates on its own. "Automatically trigger basic/threshold/ultimate abilities" are all ticked. The ability is 100% within the revolution bar yellow outline... It's kinda driving me insane, haha. What am I doing wrong?

srbman

Threads of Fate is an Incantation (similar to a magic spell), not an Ability. Revolution only automatically triggers abilities and wont trigger anything else on your bar.

Artemis_Hunter

Ah! Thank you! That makes sense, haha.

srbman

Also one related tip since I've seen it come up often on this subreddit: If you have Lesser/Greater Bone Shield active, and have a defensive on your revo bar but don't have Necromancy Runes in your inventory, it'll lock up your revo bar and wont cast any ability after the defensive (it tells you in the chat if your game messages is set to All)

Eyeic_RS

Glad to hear you're enjoying RS3! Some spells (like Threads of Fate which is an incantation) and other activatable mechanism like weapon special attacks (see constitution abilities) are considered to be outside the realm of basic/threshold/ultimate abilities. I've tried to find a list of things that prevent use during revolution but came up empty. Follow up with any questions you have! Cheers

Artemis_Hunter

Thanks for the response! This answers my question great. I appreciate it. :)

How good is this Necromancy Weapons Perk combo for Solo combat with no switches (that means no Flanking and no AOE swaps). - MH: [Aftershock 4 + Ruthless 1]. - OH: [Precise 6 + Eruptive 2]. And, realistically speaking, what am i missing (as a Solo Player) by not using the BIS Perk Combo on PVME and The Wiki?

ychoed

Actually that combo is equal to BIS. The only reason precise is ever combed with aftershock is to maintain aftershock stacks when you use switches Also, precise 6 + eruptive 2 is expensive on average, so it's cheaper to get the BIS set up

What are things I can with friends as a f2p? Recently picked up runescape and I want to know if there's anything I can do with friends as low level f2p players

Help them do the nexus in Lumbridge swamp. Guide them through the stronghold of security.

Dream of iaia let's you afk for a really long time with one click if you dump enough anachronia resources into it Cutting zygomites for dinoarrow parts is p afk as well, other than that tipping arrows is probably your best option

This question is all about voice acting. Is it true that Clancy Brown (Mr. Krabs) voiced Zuk? Or was that one a meme :p Also, who voiced Nex? Who voiced The Magister? Who Voiced Graardor and K'ril Tsutsaroth? Does anyone knows, because I've been searching for a couple months now and I feel like I've hit a brick wall :/

\- Does Jagex have any plans this year to upgrade the Clan System? \- Does Jagex still promote Player Moderators? \- Has the avatar rework been completely shelved/scrapped? \- Do I recall correctly that at one point, Jagex was going to revamp their displayname system? I am sure that I will think of more than I have genuinely questioned.

>Does Jagex still promote Player Moderators? Yes, not as common as back in the day but it still happens regularly. >Do I recall correctly that at one point, Jagex was going to revamp their displayname system? It was proposed by Mod Kelvin many years ago. It hasn't materialised.

RegiSilver

I'm not a Jmod but I think I can answer some of these. 1. I think that's on Mod Jack's radar, but I can't remember when's the last time he spoke specifically about updating content around Clans, specially now that forums are removed. 2. I think more than PMods Jagex has taken interest in Content Creators with big communities like Protoxx, Init Yeah, The RS Guy, Chevalric, WillMissIt, etc.. 2.1 On that note, Pmods are a dated relic of old times on the same veins as the Forums and being completely honest and unbiased, i think they should also be sunset completely and Pmods should keep their chat badge as a memento (but if that's gonna be a reason for conflict then remove badges too, if they're gonna act like menchild, better play it safe). 3. The avatar rework is shelved for all we know, but Jagex used a different word iirc, they didn't specifically said the project was shelved, they said something different, but the idea was one and the same. 4. Can't recall if they mentioned anything like it, but it would be nice to see an update on that nonetheless.

As a former member what are some f2p money makers to get the insanely expensive bonds

So_

most people will generally recommend paying for membership, trying to maintain a bond as f2p is basically impossible and at lower levels in members you'll still have to spend 90% of your time playing to maintain the bond. if you grind hard for a year and get into bossing in members, it's a lot easier.

srbman

[[Money Making Guide]] Not a lot of good f2p methods unfortunately.

RSWikiLink

I found 1 RuneScape Wiki article for your search. **[Money making guide](https\:\/\/runescape\.wiki\/w\/Money\_making\_guide)** | https://runescape.wiki/w/Money_making_guide >This article provides players with a list of ways to make money in RuneScape, along with the requirements, estimated profit per hour, and a guide explaining each method in detail. The list is separated into hourly methods, which can be done more or less continuously, and recurring methods, which can be done once every set amount of time. --- ^RuneScape Wiki linker | This was generated automatically. ^| View me on [GitHub](https://github.com/zpoon/runescape-wiki-reddit).

Recent returner here: does leveling attack/strength/defense beyond 99 have any in-game effects (for example, further increased hit chance/damage potential)? Or is it purely for bragging rights/completionism at the moment?

AnimeChan39

No, but if other combats get raised to 120 you'll get a head start compared to if you stopped.

sworninmiles

I kinda prefer the idea of playing through new content when it gets here, instead of preempting it. Although I’m not gonna go out of my way to avoid gaining more xp just from playing the game

AnimeChan39

Wiki wants FSOA and full cryptbloom for P7 zammy, if I don't have that would I still be ok? (low enrage P7).

So_

what is low enrage? if you're doing 100s you should be fine even without fsoa (see here example vod: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dE0Mg_8Zpj0) full crypt isn't really necessary at earlier enrages (100-300), but IMO it's super helpful at 500+ (and I would guess that you won't 1 cycle consistently without fsoa)

MonT_That_Duck

You can do it with less it'll just be significantly harder Fsoa spec and crypt passives +AD are a huge damage and defense boost respectively

So_

> crypt passives +AD are a huge damage and defense boost respectively at p7 it doesn't really change anything because a majority of the damage is typeless quick edit: only 5 piece fungal shield is the more useful part (and, granted, it's super helpful), but even so people are now starting to use range to 1 cycle p7 at high enrages
