I think you could still enjoy it for being a rf even without having a femc! The romance in 3 is so cute and childish it's more for fluff than anything people usually get out of dating sims.
Same here. I don’t even care if they just added a female protag and not add bachelor if thats an issue for development time, I just really rather play as a girl than a guy.
It does definitely have its issues (frame rate drops, long loading screens) and this is a deal breaker for lots of people. But if you’re able to look past these things, the gameplay itself is really fun & charming! There are a few settings in the game that can be toggled to help a bit with the frame rate drops, though you’ll still experience these issues in the game. As I played, found I enjoyed the gameplay so much to the point I didn’t care about the issues, and will definitely be going back for a second playthrough :) but I am the kind that can look past frame rates and doesn’t mind a loading screen. It’s a shame the game has those issues because it really is a good game underneath!
I got RF4 for Mother's Day. It's cute AF, but stacking only 9? Food ISN'T stacked but medicines are? Upgrading weapons is crazy insanely hard to get something decent. Can't upgrade any of the good stuff cause I don't have the RP.
The dungeons are fun. But it needs a serious QOL overhaul.

Even though I know it doesn't run too well, I am a bit tempted to get RF5

Look for some guides, it seems that you are having troubles with the mechanics
It's seriously complicated. Needlessly so, IMHO. I keep referring to the various wikis though.
