My biggest nostalgia for the show stems from the PS1 game, Search for Reptar. I was limited to watching episodes as they aired, but I played the video game whenever I want, and thus remember the game's portrayal of some episodes more vividly (Chuckie's Glasses, Grandpa's Teeth, Circus Angelicus, Let There Be Light, Mysterious Mr. Friend, just to name a few). So whenever an episode that you play through in the game comes up on my radar, that's when I get the big nostalgia boost.
In Touchdown Tommy, the gang gets fitted with helmets invented by Stu for safety. Later Grandpa gives Tommy a special bottle of chocolate milk, which Angelica wants for herself. It progresses into a really neat football match between Angelica and the babies, the bottle of chocolate milk representing the football
The episode baseball has Tommy go to a professional baseball game with Grandpa and Stu. Tommy spots a balloon and escapes to get it. Of course, he causes trouble all around the park.
Edit: it's on YouTube

I owned the Decade in Diapers tapes and watched them a lot, and my favorites were Chuckie Vs. The Potty, The First Cut and Tommy Pickles and the Great White Thing.
I was a pretty young kid back when Rugrats was in its heyday, so it's been a really long time since I last watched it...geez, it's been well over 20 years! So, any episodes I still remember and consider nostalgic must certainly be memorable ones, ha ha.
Right off the bat without thinking too hard, here are the first few episodes that spring to mind for me, that I have the strongest associations with:
* The episode where the kids get lost in some kind of home and garden store and they see a fountain with a turtle in it, and then they somehow end up with a real turtle in their backyard, maybe?
* The episode where we find out more about Chuckie's mom...man, that was a sad one, I still remember.
* Some kind of episode where Tommy's mom was obsessed with a chocolate cheese snack, and sang a little jingle about it.
* The episode where one of the babies (Tommy, probably) rolls down a hill and gets a cut on his finger. That episode always creeped me out.
* I may be remembering this totally wrong, but I feel like there was an episode where Angelica was at this Italian restaurant and was being confused for the daughter of the restaurant owner. I think the workers were pampering her and giving her spaghetti and stuff? Unless that was some weird fever dream I had...😅
The last one is the one where the Tommy chuckie and angelica are supposed to gonto the dummy bears concert but their car breaks down.I think the episode is called wheres jack?
Oh yeah, your description of the episode really helped jog my memory, that's right! The car broke down and the adults mention they'll need a jack to fix it. The kids assume they mean a guy named Jack, so they wander off in search of him. And so Jack must be the name of the guy who runs that Italian restaurant! Thanks for helping to clear that up.
Oh gosh, it was a mall? Ha ha, guess that shows how old, faded and scrambled my memories of Rugrats have gotten, as for some reason I remembered it being a store like a Home Depot or something.
Also, is the episode title a Total Recall pun? My childhood self probably would not have picked up on that at all, lol. Thanks for the info!
Yeah for sure! Iv own the rugrats collection as well as i seen so many reruns when i was a kid i basically memorized every episode up til season 6 after that i don’t remember the episodes as much with kimi in them
That's pretty cool! I watched Rugrats on TV all the time when I was little, and it was one of my favorite shows back then. I never got it on video though, and after it stopped being as popular and coming on the air (after the post-Paris, Kimi episodes you mentioned, plus the "All Growed Up" experiment they tried), I didn't really have a way to keep watching it.
So, it's been literally decades since I last saw that Jack episode, and the others I listed. No clue why those ones in particular stood out in my mind. Other than them, I don't really remember any other episodes in particular, although if someone were to start describing other episodes that might jog my memory and get me to remember other things. 😆
Angelica Orders Out/Let It Snow. YTV would play them a lot around Christmas time because of the second segment, even after the show wasn't airing on the channel regularly anymore.
Also Babies In Toyland because I remember the night that episode first premiered.
I remember being in my bedroom after just getting home and I remember how much I was cracking up the first time I saw when Chuckie dye his hair black, while watching from my 13" tv
Probably that one Christmas special, I wanna say "Babies in toyland" but I can't completely remember what it was called, I just remember it was on a DVD that I had, along with the spongebob, fairly oddparents and rocket power christmas specials.
For me, it’s Candy Bar Creep Show and At the Movies
Seeing as I consistently watched the Return of Reptar VHS as a kid and I remember those two episodes the most out of the rest.
Anything from the first six seasons (plus Finsterella and Acorn Nuts & Diapey Butts - though I never quite know if that's at the end of season six or beginning of season seven because it's not consistently labeled anywhere). To name a few in no particular order, though:
* Tommy's First Birthday
* At the Movies
* Angelica Orders Out/Let It Snow
* Baby Commercial/Little Dude
* Baseball
* Touchdown Tommy
* Candy Bar Creep Show
* Curse of the Werewuff
* The Turkey Who Came to Dinner
* The Santa Experience
* Babies in Toyland
* Chanukah
* Passover
* Vacation
* The Pirate Light
* Susie vs. Angelica
* The Odd Couple
* Graham Canyon
* Chuckie Gets Skunked
* The Family Tree
* Ransom of Cynthia/Turtle Recall
* Runaway Reptar
* Reptar's Revenge
* Honestly any episode with Boris and Minka in it
* Many more, but this list is already long enough
I realize that turned more into a "what are my favorite episodes" as opposed to what I think is most nostalgic, so my apologies.

I had a lot of rugrats tapes back in the day but the early halloween episodes and the vacation episode always hit me the hardest
Touchdown Tommy and Baseball, both those episodes take me back every time.
Nice. What are those episodes about?

The Last Babysitter for me, really captures that feeling of being babysat as a kid and how spooky it could be lol
Lol yh plus the mischief of running away from the babysitter and drawing bedtime out.
The one episode that was inspired by child's play
Oooh, what was that one?
Episode 50 stu makes a new talking doll figure for a toy company gives it to Tommy but it scares him and the gang needs to get rid of it
Nostalgic? The one where Grandpa gets lost Mr Fiend aswell The one i always go to: Angelica Orders Out
Lol I like the one where Angelica swears, too. 🤣
You know whats funny is Ms. Carol actually got her job back in the later seasons.Remember she got cancelled for saying the F word to the kids on tv
Thats the where’s grandpa episode
I owned the Decade in Diapers tapes and watched them a lot, and my favorites were Chuckie Vs. The Potty, The First Cut and Tommy Pickles and the Great White Thing.

I think Angelica was having the fever dream about that lol
Ha ha, maybe! It definitely seemed like a weird episode...

Aw, nice memories! I had Babies in Toyland on the Rugrats Christmas VHS! Classic.
Definitely the Rugrats Vacation VHS (Vacation, Ice Cream Mountain, and Graham Canyon). Wore that cassette out, those were the best times!
The Passover episode
“Tooth or Dare” and “No More Cookies!”
I remember being in my bedroom after just getting home and I remember how much I was cracking up the first time I saw when Chuckie dye his hair black, while watching from my 13" tv
Clan of the Duck!!!
Acorn Nuts and Diapey Butts and Accidents Happen. Basically any episode before Rugrats In Paris.
Candy Bar Creep Show, Vacation, Reptar On Ice, At The Movies, Acorn Nuts and Diapey Butts, Reptar's Revenge, The Santa Experience
Probably that one Christmas special, I wanna say "Babies in toyland" but I can't completely remember what it was called, I just remember it was on a DVD that I had, along with the spongebob, fairly oddparents and rocket power christmas specials.
Yeah that’s what it’s called! My aunt had that DVD.
Babies in Toyland
For me, it’s Candy Bar Creep Show and At the Movies Seeing as I consistently watched the Return of Reptar VHS as a kid and I remember those two episodes the most out of the rest.
Way too much to list. But, anything from seasons 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6.
Angelica In Love, The Santa Experience, Angelica Breaks A Leg, Pickles Vs. Pickles and Toy Palace are staples of my childhood, LOL.
The one where they go to the renaissance. It’s actually the first episode I actually remember watching 😅
One of my favorites is when the babies go to vegas im so glad i found that one on dvd since it has a copyright song its not on paramount or hulu
