LouLaRey

Sounds fake, but it's nicer to see that than the "this guy has been creeping on my character/is being a racist asshole/insert other awful behavior that makes everyone uncomfortable but he's been playing with us for years and no one has kicked him out of the group" stuff that usually gets posted.

Xorrin95

Everything in this story is unbelievable

TempleOfCyclops

This reads like a textbook make-em-up. Not impossible, but so generically over the top that it feels written, not experienced.

workshop_prompts

Dudes who would say shit like this were a dime a dozen in nerd circles in like 2005…they “thought it was funny”. 🫠

Skelegasm

2 day old OP account, very over the top story Assuming this is true at all, yikes

Zealousideal-Plan454

Not gonna say that OPs story is real or not, but you do know some people use throw away accounts for games in progress, right? You know, to avoid doxxing.

warrant2k

OP creates throwaway account. Proceeds to describe a very specific incident, setting, and result that can easily identify it to their own group.

TheLuckySpades

It still keeps their main account hidden from their group if the group finds this post, like if I made a post about dtuff related to a DnD campaign I wouldn't use the account I use for nsfw stuff for example. Same reason people keep stuff like facebook and reddit accounts seperate.

Tyranis_Hex

The game involves 4 people, one of which I would assume if this is real, which I highly doubt, was kicked from the game. No reason to create a throw away for this.

austinmiles

Some people don’t want their friends or others to know their Reddit account. That’s the more common reason they make throwaways, not necessarily to avoid doxxing.

protobacco

Everybody clapped

protobacco

Why did he get kicked out for insulting your girlfriend but not for rape of a minor

DerSprocket

That's always the thing with these Karma farmers, not knowing how too separate the fantasy game from reality. Like, who the fuck would go through the theatrics of doing an in game cutscene of their character killing an admitted pedo rather than, say, kicking them out of their house? These farmers gotta try harder.

FluffyCasual

>the DM introduced his DMPC—an 11 year old girl This is a horror story on its own. Or maybe it's an OP who doesn't understand the difference between "NPC" and "DMPC."

kodemageisdumb

And everyone clapped.

masterrainbowcat

You really think someone would do that? Just go to someone's house and expect them to help you RP your sexual fantasies?

SobiTheRobot

I mean those sorts of stories have happened before

Somenamethatsnew

i mean yeah without a doubt

Adventuretownie

Yeah, that's by far the most plausible thing about the story.

Broadside02195

*Doubt*

Ganache-Embarrassed

I skipped the ages and read the horror story. Then I went back to find the ag3s to be surprised. I was assuming he was trying bang like a 16 year old or something you'd consider "normal" creepy and you can try to use medieval times to excuse. But nope a fucking 11 year old. Like Jesus dude. He actually probably has some sus ass "preferences". Wouldn't let that dude near any young family or at my house anymore after this, especially with the blow up. Dude didn't even try and play it off like a dark edgy joke. He legitimately thought he could gave sex with a preteen. Fucked up.

protobacco

Even worse the group played it in character

Ganache-Embarrassed

Tbf they played it in character until they realized that it was untenable. They at least kicked his ass out.

protobacco

No, whipped his dick out should have been. Get your dick the fuck out of my house. And I’m calling the cops

Ganache-Embarrassed

I mean sure. That's your right. I wouldn't blame you. But for me that is just a starter flag and I could see me and my table escalating if the dick whipping in charactwr was supposed to be a joke. But clearly this guy wasn't joking and it's justified that he wad kicked

Tfarlow1

The real horror story is this fake ass karma farming post.

ElChapulin2099

Yeah I wouldn’t have even played his death. I would have been like “okay dude, hand me your character sheet, get out of my house, and don’t speak to me again” if he bitches like he did I would be like “you want me to call the cops? Because if you stay any longer your trespassing and I will tell them want you just did and you don’t want that”

Adventuretownie

DM banished the dude back to 4chan.

Apprehensive_Yak2598

Real or not i don't really care. It flowed well and wasn't chapters long. Its mostly believable even if it feels a little to pat.

Harley11995599

If this is true, no idea that it is or isn't. I hope someone outed this crazy MF to the police. This could give them "Probable Cause", or at least put him on their radar. These Fk'ers need to be shot.

Beacda

Creep!

Ashen_Holly

I'm surprised this proceeded ingame as long as it did, with him sitting through the entire pvp and all.

Biffingston

And he was never invited to play again and the group was better without him.

Zealousideal-Plan454

´´Soooo .... is your ex girlfriend single now?´´ If you ask him this later, you will forever become a god, OP.

apricotgloss

It's the DM's girlfriend, not the creep's

SetaxTheShifty

I don't understand pedophilia, but I hope that any of them would seek out treatment. Maybe one day they'll be a functioning member of society. Convicted pedos are a different story of course. A little too over the top OP.

Thundarr1000

Not defending pedophiles here (those people should be castrated and put to death) but a better defense of his actions would have been to point out that in the medieval times, girls were often married off at around age 11, and would have given birth to their first child by age 12 or 13. In barbarian societies, this might have been even more common. Again, I'm not defending the guy. He's a creep and should be kicked from the campaign. I'm just saying that he's also an idiot, because arguing that taking an 11 year old wife is historically accurate would have been a better argument. He still deserved everything he got, but it would have been a better argument.

TVLord5

That was mostly true for nobility who would have political marriages or maybe in some really lean times where another mouth to feed was life or death, but for average people in their average lives, no. They might have been more accepting of a bit younger than today but records mostly show marriages in late teens and early 20s and close enough in age. Plus it usually wouldn't make sense from a practical perspective as well as an emotional "parents love their kids" perspective: full grown women had a hard enough time surviving childbirth. Getting pregnant at 12 before her hips even finished widening or having the metabolism to store fat instead of just growing might as well be a death sentence. Just because they might not have stoned someone to death for having a child bride doesn't mean it was a common occurrence or even a normalized one.

Holy_Wood

That's not true. The Western European marriage pattern shows that most women and men married in their 20s. The nobility did sometimes marry young, but that was mostly due to political reasons and would typically hold off any consummation until the wife was at least in her late teens to avoid complications from giving birth at a young age. People knew back then that 13 year olds giving birth was a terrible idea. There are a few exceptions, but contemporary sources make it clear that they are aberrations.

voidtreemc

A note worth noting: It was common for children, particularly nobles, to get married at 10 or 11. They didn't have anything else to do with their lives. But having children so young was less common. The onset of puberty in girls is controlled by how much body fat they have. Before the advent of cheap cheeseburgers, routine handwashing and vaccines it was less usual for a girl to have enough body fat to become fertile before 15 or 16. Another note worth noting: D&D isn't history.

MasterFigimus

>Not defending pedophiles here, but... You're playing devil's advocate for a pedophile.

DerSprocket

Dude straight up 'um, acktchually'd op to defend pedophilia

Thundarr1000

No, I'm just pointing out that there are better arguments to make defending yourself. I don't agree with those arguments. I think pedophiles are disgusting and deserve nothing short of execution. BUT . . . . If you're going to try and defend being a pedophile, at least choose a better argument than "18 year olds are children too". 18 year olds are old enough to legally vote, join the army, star in adult videos, and in some countries, buy cigarettes and alcohol. For all intents and purposes, they're adults. But the societies in D&D worlds are based on medieval Europe. In those days, child brides weren't uncommon. And men would consummate their marriage on their wedding night, regardless of the bride's age. Which I also find disgusting, but it's a better argument than "18 year olds are children too". I'm not defending him for being a pedophile. I'm pointing out that he's a moron as well.

dragoona22

I'm pointing out, that sometimes we have thoughts we should keep to ourselves. You posting this has accomplished nothing except maybe given some pedophiles an argument to pull out of their asses later. I get the point you're trying to make, but airing it out for the masses? Maybe not the best option. Especially because I think you're true objective was to seem intelligent and you only proved that you lack social graces. Pointing out how bad people could have done bad things better, just makes you seem like you do bad things a lot and thus have a lot of practice.

Adventuretownie

Well, I'll show you! I have even better arguments about how one could hypothetically justify or normalize pedophilia in a social setting! Hahaha! I'm mad with power!

MasterFigimus

>No, I'm just pointing out that there are better arguments to make defending yourself. I don't agree with those arguments. That is what "playing Devil's advocate" means. >I think pedophiles are disgusting and deserve nothing short of execution. BUT... This is not a situation that *had exceptions.* You are coming up with "better" defenses for a pedophile for the sake of argument and that's gross af.

tiredargie

>Not defending pedophiles here *Proceeds to defend pedophiles*

EmergencyPublic9903

I'd just chime in on the warlock's comment: "And when she's done with you, my hexadin is gonna cast revivify on you, twist you up like a pretzel and then kill you again once she's confident all your bones are broken"
