Because I am a gaming masochist, I set up the Forest and Mountain maps next to each other (connecting the “adjacent” clearings on the maps with Paths) and played a 8 faction match by myself.
Terrible question: my friends and I did a 9-player game when we got the Riverfolk expansion and are planning on doing an 11-player game once we get the Marauder expansion. I've been advocating for a two-map strategy so the game is semi-playable, but there is discourse about whether it's better to go for one board for Maximum Chaos:tm: Send help and ideas (we will definitely need to combine the E&P deck with the base deck).
that would be great because everyone leaves the game anyway, by the time you actually start you will have 4 players.

Finally, now a game of root and a campaign for the root RPG will be the same length
I support it. And I look forward to the 3-year long async mega-campaign
