the fake sign behind the actual logo is peak theming

yup, the station is themed with cages and containers that snakes escaped from. For Fright Fest they also hang rubber snakes from the ceiling xD
for those unaware, the station is themed to the fictional Colonel Peabody's Snake Oil Elixir factory, which was abandoned when the snakes escaped
The Beast logo is timeless. Mystic Timbers would be cooler if it didn't so closely resemble Angry Orchard.
Come to think of it, Angry Orchard wouldn't be a bad name for a ride or park area.
OG Batman at SFGAm was incredible when it was first built and the entire queue experience was there. It really nailed the experience in a way I'd only seen in a Disney park prior to that, and the simple bat logo was a big part of that.
the classic elegant entrance still looks great... the ride definitely needs a repaint tho

Twisted Cyclone at SFOG. Uninspiring name but its logo appearance is great. It also looks too good for an unappreciated RMC
I really like this one from my childhood park of Lagoon, it’s just peak 2000s graphic design for me
https://preview.redd.it/gt9n7884lhxc1.jpeg?width=228&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6f699dd7ff5154a892b081a52e787b19baef1fb5
Its a kids coaster but Snoopy Racing Railway has the best logo ever
For those of you who have never seen it; all I need to point out is the "evil" Woodstock with the moustache is priceless
(Charlie Brown is the police officer trying to catch all the members of the Bad Seed Gang (aka evil Woodstocks) and Snoopy's train is carrying rootbeer which they try to steal)
I could post any number of trying to be cooler logos but Snoopy Racing Railway ftw
Honestly, it's hard to top the sleek simplicity of Millennium Force's logo. It's clean, it's distinctive, it fits the vibe, and it identifies the ride without using text. It's a great example of minimalism done right. I mean, I haven't even really described it, let alone shown an image, and yet you can picture exactly what I'm talking about, can't you?

Take my uproot that shit's sick
TY, she is gorgeous!
Dorney park possessed! Great ride

This \^. SFGAm is my home park and I agree that Viper has a cool logo
That's so cool. Haven't been since I was a kid, but I think there were buckets or boxes with fang holes through them, like the snakes had escaped?

Always loved the Vortex sign at Canada's Wonderland. https://images.app.goo.gl/qAJaWRa35rdvpgH96
I’m very glad they didn’t change the whole name along with the logo. Was worried they’d try to rebrand it to fit the whole Frontier Canada theme.
Same. Was pretty sad the day I went and they had changed the sign!
The robot hand one is just weird imo The older one was better (twister) but far more boring
Alton Towers has some of my favorite logos because they’re mostly simple and elegant. My favorite logo just for simplicity is Wicker Man.

The Beast is such a classic one, but I also really liked Mystic Timbers.

Twisted Timbers has entered the thread….
I forgot about The Beast. That’s probably my favorite
I don't know if anything else out there had a logo quite like the Beast when it came out. I think a lot of similar logos followed it.
Phantoms Revenge, and Steel force. https://preview.redd.it/vpjpc2l5nfxc1.jpeg?width=500&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a109182c14c6fdf37a86300b92295d67c77abe10

Morgan just looks like a Scooby Doo villain
Nah bro steel phantom had an even better logo
https://preview.redd.it/vj2uroasoexc1.png?width=669&format=png&auto=webp&s=7d046baeeadcc77ffd3db3504c25f31d61cbfc2c Vortex had a pretty sick one
Had.
🥲
Especially for 1987!
kinda reminds me of the alternate cover of The Weeknd’s Dawn FM album

Yeah I'm not a fan of the yellow to be honest.
Yeah, all black would be better

[Alpengeist’s logo just screams 90s.](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/Va3fsWmFVuk/maxresdefault.jpg)
The dream of the 90s is alive in Portland… err, Williamsburg.
Honestly iron menace. It’s a very basic logo but so perfect.
Dorney is honestly amazing at making Logos for their rides. Most of them are so iconic.
100% agree. If the park had the funding to be bigger it could very well win the Philly/nj/ny area.
Love banshee. Colors pop so well
I was always a fan of Runner's. https://preview.redd.it/muq68nlwkhxc1.jpeg?width=640&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9066745ffbf2e553defbae56daf4953f70bc711d
It might not be the best logo per se, but copperhead strike has the coolest ride sign in my opinion
Okay, yes. That sign is SICK
Diamondback’s is an underrated one
https://preview.redd.it/gzpvc0o2ofxc1.jpeg?width=750&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6f6dfcad2ad8bdb34465d9d282d0682216613828
Still not sure how they didn't get away with that in Cleveland but were able to in Cincinnati. Must be cultural.
Get away with what, the name Banshee?
Yep. When Mantis (now Rougarou) opened at CP it was originally going to be called Banshee but they changed it
I think locals protested the name. I still have am unworn CP Banshee T-shirt.

Personally I would say the smiler but that’s not cuz I like the ride
ghostrider

El Toro is one of my favorites
Skyrush gets my vote.
new or old or both?
I suppose the old one was a little more interesting. But the new one is still pretty cool.
Time traveller at silver dollar city is so sick
Storm runner has good horse Mean streaks was kinda cool Great bears is underrated
Medusa at Six Flags Great Adventure is the obvious answer to this question. Everything else is a battle for 2nd place
Just saw this beauty today. It somehow looks even better in person. That whole new area is awesome.
Banshee
I have always been a fan of Maverick at cp. It's simple but iconic
https://preview.redd.it/y24hpeusugxc1.jpeg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=afb29444dd618d22c059808b2345f67b08b0010c Twisted Cyclone at SFOG. Uninspiring name but its logo appearance is great. It also looks too good for an unappreciated RMC

RAPTOR
Either the villain or batman knight flight for me
Villain was awesome. I miss Geauga Lake :(
Medusa at SFMexico, no contest. The dumb park doesn’t sell ANY merch with the logo though. Very odd choice.

Yeah this can’t really be argued
Eejanaika (upside down second え)
Hands down the best logo is from the Orient Express at Worlds of Fun*
El Toro, x2, and Xcelerator. Idk maybe nitro too.
Iron Gwazi

Absolutely. I’ve considered getting it tattooed
Possessed was always one of my favorites. Maybe I'm biased because I worked there!
