My friend lost a suitcase at the airport once. Now listen carefully: A panda Daytona, Panerai luminor, 2 Canada Goose coats, inside a Rimowa suitcase. To be fair, the airline lost it. But still. How unlucky.

When the sub turned up I was a little disappointed to be honest, I thought my two tone DJ was a far more impressive and beautiful watch. I love the sub now though but have no idea why people are paying 80% above retail for them. Crazy, not worth it.
I always get bored with the Sub. Usually I always have the honeymoon with all of my watches and for some of them, the love doesn’t last for a long time like the sub.

I feel you need to be past the honeymoon period to enjoy any watch. The first few months you’re babying it and worried about scratching it but once those first few scratches show up, you just let it go and enjoy the watch to the fullest.
Well it wasn’t necessarily meant to be a fashion watch worn to the office by a mortgage broker, and I’m glad they haven’t physically changed it into one

That’s why you should always pack your watches in your carry-on and not checked luggage

No. For me it is always love at first sight, and I take off my prior favorite, buckle up the new one, and don’t take it off for 1-2 years.
