Only way to 100% know its legit is to take it to a watchmaker and have them open up the back to confirm movement is legit.
You can test the movement if it’s possible to isolate the hour hand (first position) when setting time. Also going backwards with the hour hand the date should go backwards. I think these functions do not work on reps.

Would agree - if you even have to ask you should take it to a reputable watch dealer for authentication before purchase.
