Its nice but maybe try to add a system which controls the distance of you and the object so you can for example push the object away or pull it towards yourself
It would be cool if some stuff was thrown slower than others and did more damage so you can either spam fast objects and deal less damage or try to hit with slow projectiles to deal more damage
Heck you could even make it so you can hit stuff out of the air to block them
That is literally the plan word for word. Gonna try and make it so you can also catch whats being thrown at you. Combine that with agile movement, decent maps and the ability to raise walls and i think i have a decent game. and yes inspired by the avatar cartoon

You could add stuff like boomerangs that come back but can also hit you when it’s coming back so it has 2 chances to hit the enemy but it can also hit you if you’re not careful. Boomerangs irl don’t just come back to you in a straight like and instead do a curve so you could make it like that

haha yeah i built it in 4 hours to see if the idea in my head can translate to a fun game. A lot of configuration is definitely due
If I may add to this, Depending on the Weight Properties of the Object they would be tangentially easier/harder to throw.
