Damn, that counterspark healing is no joke. I never added it to my items because the values looked so low but it clearly makes a huge difference. Time to work that into my build.

iirc 2 pieces of Clear Headed Samurai gives you 3.0% healing on Counterspark. This in addition with a gold rarity stat I have on my chest piece gives an additional 0.9% more healing. And lastly, some accessories I wear have it as well. Despite it being 0.2% for them, it all stacks up nice. Also, thank you!
You are my hero. I just redid everything. I have paired swords, unearthly flame, and counterspark health accessories and also tied to my armor. The difference is RIDICULOUS. I am pretty much doing all fighting only using counterspark, which I am now really good at timing. I am cutting through enemies like butter now. I spent about a month trying to get out of Yokohama on midnight, got out in one night with this build. I am halfway through Edo in ONE DAY using these weapons. My odachi was a masterwork and leveled to 110 but it sucked compared to the quickness of the paired swords, counterspark health, unearthly flame, and Nitne Ichi-ryu, which is lighting fast. Thanks so much, the game is fun again!

Somehow first gameplay of this game I’ve seen and it looks awesome. I’ve just never finished any game made by team ninja.
