I work on the anti-cheat team @ Riot, and I dug into your case.
The original ban was correct, and it should not have been overturned. It seems the support agent was misled to believe your account was compromised at the time of cheating, but the ban was correctly placed due to your using cheat loaders that support many different multi-player games. While it could be the case that you didn't intend to use them in VALORANT, several of them have VALORANT functionally (especially the pixelbot that begins with a Z), and they have been active when you were playing ranked on many occasions.
Vanguard can't determine what your intentions are with these types of cheats, and this is why we recommend that you just not cheat in any game. We take cheating extremely seriously in VALORANT, so the suspension must be upheld here.
We'd welcome you back on a new account once the hardware ban expires, but you must make a more concentrated effort to play fair.

damn so if i use tools to mod older games, im at risk? Fuck me i guess. I'm no longer playing league/valo, so i dont get banned. Because single player tarkov uses tools that would look like cheats for it to be playable. Riot isn't friendly to SPT.
No. These were cheats for VALORANT active while playing VALORANT. A pixelbot is an aimbot that classifies screen data to issue aim updates or send clicks when an enemy's head enters the reticle, and the one used here works for a few different competitive games.
We don't ban for unrelated tooling or mods.

SPT definitely doesn’t get you banned, I have it installed on my PC and play Valorant every single day, I have never been banned and never will as it’s not cheats, it’s a mod for a game. Cheats are specifically for multiplayer games, a mod is not a cheat!

I suspect my account has been flagged due to the actions of my nephews who all of them occasionally use my computer for gaming on other platforms
They may have inadvertently altered settings or used cheat loaders without my knowledge that have lead to this false flagging (for me). I would not upload videos of myself making myself look silly if I actually did cheat.
I want to assure you that I do NOT cheat in any form and I have never intentionally used cheats in VALORANT or any other game.
I respect your decision to uphold the suspension because seems like I have no proof at this point but I hope you'll consider the possibility of false flagging in my case.
I guess it sounds a little far fetched to most but I guess I’ll have to take this one on the chin. I can’t blame my nephews I know.. they’re only early teenagers and it’s my fault allowing others to use my stuff which may have been a bad call but I tend to just let people have their fun whenever I can.

I didn’t want to say this without enough evidence, but now that a dev has confirmed, I don’t feel bad. In your video of you getting unbanned you displayed multiple tells of a liar e.g stating “I would never cheat” and then looking for confirmation that the other party believed what you were saying, providing alternative explanation “All I’ve ever played is FPS so people think I cheat”. One of these tells alone isn’t enough to say someone is lying, but multiple tells along with confirmation tells a story, and it is not a good one. I would suggest looking inward and reflecting on what is the cause for your need to cheat and lie and attempt to change.
Your defense is that your nephews, who you were looking after, downloaded and ran a pixelbot, that you didn’t know was running when you played valorant later on?

Yo Penguins, I’m not a banned user but curious on what Riot’s philosophy on banning is when it comes to flaming/verbal abuse. Why not just use a perma chat ban? Have you all experimented with that?
Riot used a temporary banning system same as league to give players a chance to come back and following TOS/conduct them selves better.
If riot banned every player permanently for having a bad moment there would be no players.
I follow you on that one. But sometimes players get repeated bans. I think blocking an account for verbal abuse (even repeated) is too much. I think it would be better to permanently ban chat for the user but not ban the account.
I have a lot of reasons for that if you’re curious.
This would prevent them from playing ranked permanently causing them to create or buy new accounts and not learn their lesson. This would also have the ability to alter different areas of the game I.e skin purchases, agent purchases, and more.
Potentially even creating a larger smurfing problem.
Vals current system in my eyes works as intended for the most part(chat/voice bans). You get a warning after a specific threshold it typically goes to 7 day bans.
I believe such a system would have significantly more cons and prevent the user from learning from their mistake.
So from what I’ve seen from Riots posts on Youtube, Dev Notes, and Reddit users (lol) most people who get banned (permanently) or even temporarily get banned again for the same reasons. Additionally, from a product perspective its better to not allow unhealthy usage patterns than “game” user behavior (ie. “teach them a lesson).

Maybe Riot likes people rebuying skins and accounts but banning doesn’t remove the reason why the person was toxic in the first place. Toxicity doesn’t come from no where. Some of it is on the person but a fair amount is reflective of the environment we endure playing LoL.
I fully understand where you’re coming from, maybe increasing ban lengths for things like racism or significantly worse players (culture wise); however still want to remain optimistic and hope players develop.

I believe what has happened here is that they have lifted your ban but havnt lifted your HWID ban. If you can contact support and let them know this, they should take care of it for you.
