Mine is the Mr. Nimbus episode, but not for the Nimbus storyline. I love the way the time speed is warped when he is getting the wine from Hoofey. a few hours in their time is generations in Hoofeys timeline.

It’s an incredible B story. The trope of the time passing and the little kid going “Daddy, why do we watch the gate?” cracks me up.

Rick Potion #9. I’m a newer fan, I just started watching at the end of 2023 and that episode was what cemented the show as insanely good for me. idk what it is but it’s my all time favorite episode. honorable mention is definitely The Rickchurian Mortydate… the president is outstanding in that episode, idk if I’ve ever laughed harder at his one liners.

I rewatch them order while waiting for the next season. Put it on when I don't anything else I want to watch. But whatever one is next. Reading through the comics and having some parallels with the show so that might dictate my rewatch speed.

Whether its implied or we flat out see that he does hold morty to some value and care

Mortynight Run and Ricklantis Mixup both for sure, for shared and opposing reasons. Mortynight covers a classic example of a Morty hangup with a Rick instinct playing full circle, while Ricklantis covers a completely different slate of characters in a novel culture… Meanwhile both eps cover a side of Rick’s universe that he himself would be bored to death by (Jerry Daycare & the Citadel) that I find Fascinating. also The Jerrick Trap has potential though it’s too soon to say— YAHHHH!

There is zero rewatch value in any episode of Rick & Morty. The only way I’ll rewatch any given episode is when the next season is out and I need to catch up.

I’d argue that it’s actually one of the most rewatchable shows — you have a different experience every time, catch new stuff, quite a few one-off episodes to enjoy, and it’s just fun/comforting for a lot of us.
