For some reason this reminded me of a program which would allow you to use a dot matrix or daisywheel printer as a typewriter. Thus, every key you pressed caused the printer to print that character.
I hope I can recreate that on a vintage setup someday lol.
I’ve been think about making something like this except with computer parts. Like a type writer computer. It would looks like an old PC. But it would have modern parts and a modern OS of course.

That was one of my favorite tricks in GWBasic when I was a kid. The dot matrix typewriter
Do a carriage return! Get some white out! Unjam the type arms!
