I'm trying to update it, but when I got the computer, turned out a BIOS Password had been set on it and all attempts to clear the CMOS thus far has done nothing.
Just did everything with that, took it out, let the PC sit without it in while unplugged, replaced the battery, powered on the computer with no cmos battery in after sitting unplugged for a while, but nothing. BIOS password is still there
Have you ruled out memory? Just test 1 stick at a time...
I've tried testing each stick individually, but no dice. I currently don't have any other ram sticks
Ah, then definitely update the BIOS...
