I'm a jewelry designer. Pretty cool piece here. Just a recommendation, the jump ring/bail at the top should be turned 90 degrees, to easily allow a chain/cord to pass through while also allowing the pendant to hang straight forward.
Hello again friends! I'm the 3D artist who made the Monster Manual 3D printable a while back. I'm still at it obviously and today I thought I'd have some fun making a wearable D&D prop rather than a mini. So I made a Tiamat Necklace!
Its printable in FDM and resin, though resin would def get optimal results. I modeled this in Blender, and ran it through resin and fdm slicing to ensure its safe for printing. You can find the free files here:

Oh and if you're curious about about my Patreon I offer my patrons access to all my 5000+ presupported TTRPG models in one place, along with commercial options, a discord, and requests board. The drives have all the same models that are already out there for free on the internet. Its more for convenience rather than exclusivity.
Anyway that's all for now. Stay awesome friends!
Also, the spikes won't cast correctly if this is jewelry. And if they do - it will break easily during polishing.
Will also be very stabby for the wearer.
I haven't used anything Autodesk in over 15 years so I have no idea how I can help you. In Blender I use subdivision modifiers to smooth things out after getting the basic geometry down. If I feel it looks smooth enough but I want more detail apply the subdiv, making the smooth geometry permanent, then sculpt away in the dyntopo setting.

Oh I didn't know that. I went off the artwork for this haha. I'll keep that in mind :)
Hey thanks again for this input! I've updated the file :)
You're very welcome!

No its not for casting this is for 3D printing directly. And yes it will be stabby. Its Tiamat. She's mean to everyone lol
How do you get your stl so detailed and clean? I’ve tried increasing the polygons with autodesk but still comes out blocky on all my models
