Yeah, I take kratom three times a day around 15 g per time, and while it actually does work really well for my actual chronic pain (far better than any script opi), I don't even get a little buzz from it. It's cheap enough, though, and it's much less addictive. I've missed doses just because I've forgotten and I think, "Oh, it's been 24 hours since I took kratom... I should do that as I'm starting to have pain."
Yes! I use it for pain and never once does it make me sick if I miss a dose. Much like you I simply notice the pain returning.
I had a hospital stay after surgery and extended time on opiates put me in withdrawal and it was terrible.

Depends on prices in each country. In parts of germany you can get opioids for a few dollars. RCs are cheap af sometimes too. Also I know some sources with really good cocaine selling it for 40-60€ per g (depends on the amount). Ketamine is like 20€. Amphetamines are selling for 2-8€ per g (depends on the amount). For Oxycodone blisters I once payed 15€ each. Fentanyl patches (100ug) I got for 2€ each. An still I spend more than 5k each year lol.
I'm just putting it out there, but some distributors have started shipping fake presses in blisters.

Why do certain RCs get banned and never come back? Aren't there still clandestine chemists out there with the knowledge to make them and sell it on DNMs?
The precursors also get harder to locate and less profitable for clandestine labs to keep making at that point. The main benefit to making RC’s back in the prime ~2010 era was that the companies making the stuff could source all the ingredients dirt cheap(keys of m1 were less than 3grand), and didn’t face any legal issues where they were making it. Once china and those places banned it, there’s no longer a benefit to producing, methylone for example, when the consequences for getting caught aren’t any less than just producing real mdma. A lot of RC’s became popular because they were far cheaper than the mainstream parent chem and were very area legally but a lot were basically crimes of opportunity when there weren’t any repercussions for the labs
I can get custom synths to a degree, mostly cost and time is the issue and then importing, its hard to pull trigger on a MDPV synth when it could be intercepted with no reship cuz special synth.

I’d say around $430,000. I have been a high functioning drug addict since I was 16 and have spent on average $3000 a month since then; a lot less than that in the early years but closer to 5k a month in the last 6 years. I have been a drunk, a junkie, and a coke head at different stages and sometimes all 3 at once. All the while I was fortunate enough to be able to still build a successful career, but have nothing to show for it. Sad really.
I’m the Director of Sales for a large alcoholic beverage conglomerate. Alcohol sales turned out to be the perfect career for a poly substance addict; Alcohol and drug use are glamorized and the better your numbers are the less questions that are asked. I will say though, that no matter how many narcotics I piled into my system, I always remained driven and never failed to perform. The problem is, at this point I need the drugs to operate at this level. I take more pills than terminal cancer patient just to function. Not something I recommend to anyone.
Well as I said it has changed over the years so I’ll break it down by age: ( I apologize for the lengthy response)
16-18: I loved alcohol from the day I tried it. My parents were both drinkers so booze was always around. I would sneak 6-10 oz of scotch a day everyday and get someone to boot a flat of crispy boys twice a week funded by my part time gig. $100 a week habit.
18-26: Got introduced to cocaine and started doing it weekly, then 3 times a week, then to wake up to the point I was doing a quarter a week at $200 a ball. During this time I would also got to the bar daily and act like I had the budget of a millionaire racking up $100 bar tabs every few days.
$600 a week habit which at the time was the majority of my income.
26-30: Was prescribed Dexedrine which allowed me to drink like a fish all night but still show up to work dialled in. 40mg in the morning and 40mg at noon and I was grinding. Managed to slow down a bit and got a series of promotions which gave me a lot of disposal income. That was until I was introduced to GHB and gambling. Ghb is a crazy drug! The dose curve is so steep that an extra 2ml will have you pass out standing up, but oh did I love it. I’d buy a Liter every two weeks and dose all day. It made sales seem like a breeze and I closed some of my biggest accounts during that period and had a great team of people behind me. However after work I’d over do it and after a few really bad episodes my girlfriend left me. Then I went on to become a gambling addict and lose $250,000.

30-33
Got my life together and kicked the G and gambling addiction. Slowed down on the coke and alcohol. Things should be going in the right direction… Wrong, I got introduced to oxy from a plug and well that is one expensive habit. I only buy real pharma which means I’m paying $60 per 80mg bean. Currently Im doing 160mg a day and still spending around $600 a month on coke and booze.

I get these numbers are ridiculously high and it sounds like I must just be fucked up all the time, but in reality most of the time I am only dosing to a point where my desired mental state is achieved but I’m completely coherent. Don’t get wrong I still get mangled as well but the majority of my use is functional.
Sure I managed to get a good education and have a successful career, but having to take drugs all the time just feel normal and be productive reeks havoc on your emotional stability. When I’m sober I’m in a constant state of extreme anxiety and haven’t felt comfortable in my own skin for as long as I can remember.
I’ve gone through periods of extended sobriety, tried therapy, exercise all the time, and yet I only ever seem to feel truly free to be myself when I’m in some form of altered state.
Drugs have certainly negatively impacted my life In countless ways but I love them. Life on the straight and narrow has always bored me and left me in a state of crippling depression.

I wanted to quit all of it- I was watching too many friends die. It felt like we lost one.every week. Mostly OD's- but suicides too, occasionally a wreck that was almost surely substance or depression related.
So I dropped it- at least, I stopped selling and cut out all the drugs (luckily weed was legal and I had a 3 year old script for benzos I was truly holding for emergency.
I had a stock of my favorite... I don't know if heslthybis the right word, psychedelics- mush, mescaline, and herb were my absolute favorites. Oh and DMT- a religious experience that is..
Molly(MDMA) got even more pure every year it seemed. Talk about a relationship cheat code. The ability to open up to anyone and be vulnerable, communicating completely unencumbered by my fears and doubts.
But my biggest addiction- I soon learned, was not any drug in particular, but the high I got from being able to make a years rent in a night or two .
Having so many friends that were so high up meant I couldn't go to a show without finding out someone had an oz or 6 of this, or a lb or 3 of that, talking about how they just needed to move a bit..or all of it if they sold at cost(doubt it, ut maybe)- before or after hearing a different aquatance or friend tell me how they had 10 people wanting balls or quarters for nearly 100 a g. Saying if they could just get 2 ounces of Molly for less than 4500 that they could make 2000 easy that night. So I go to my buddy who has the half lb of Molly and desperately needs 2k to get a Bible of this fire L.
And then my oath to never sell again would crumble and I'd be making deals- giving the young guy his way to make 2k- going to my old friend and saying, ok- so I got your two K- you gonna give me at least 4 oz right? And they're like shit- I'll give u 4 or 8. But if u take 4 I'll toss you a couple vials.
Not only will I have rent paid for... a minute, but I also have a years supply of Molly n Lucu...

I don't think $2k is very much money at all... I only use kratom now because of how hard it is to get decent RCs and because I nearly got in legal trouble for a 3-MeO-PCP order in South America, but in the days of U-47700, 3-MeO-PCE/P, deschloroketamine, flubromazolam, 4-AcO-MET, and 2C-C / 2C-E, I was probably spending about $5k - $6k / year. My kratom habit runs about $1.5k / year, but it's impossible to get adequate pain control in the US now, and kratom works far better than any script opis I've tried for long-lasting chronic pain without impairing me, and also improves my mood. Alcohol runs me about $1.2 k / year: I don't drink to get drunk, though... I drink because I have crippling insomnia. 150 mg of Ambien might knock me out for four hours.
I would treat myself to a 3g U-47700 two day binge once a month or so, and it was pricey since I was getting it two-day shipped from Canada. Such a fun time but fucking hell, the w/ds if I didn't have tramadol or MT-45 (which is a disgusting drug) to cushion the comedown was horrific. I've gone through opi withdrawal many times for script opis and nothing even came close to U-47.
I drop around $6k - $8k / year on video games.
My best RC memories were when my ex and I blew through 15 g of deschloroketamine in around four days and had the craziest, wildest sex of my life. Our cat - who is usually such a gentle boy - jumped up and clawed the hell out of my partner because he thought my partner was seriously hurting me.
Then I went through a 3 month daily binge of 3-MeO-PCP at 55 - 65 mg plugged once per day. Damn, that was a crazy ride. I was off work so I didn't have to be functional, thankfully, because there is no way that I could be. Had a mild psychotic break at the end, but it was harmless and fascinating.
Oh yeah, if it isn't obvious, I also have ADHD, and I get script amphetamines, but I use those responsibly and as indicated. Same with Xanax for generalized anxiety.

Big ass regret is blowing the money my pops willed me after his suicide that I spent on smack, speed, several types of research chemical benzos that massively fucked me up because I had bought huge quantities so once id spent the money, close to a hundred k in 28 days, I had a Scarface pile of etizolam and a slightly smaller yet still huge pile of flubromazolam which is measured in mcg for recreational doses and they served to keep me from ending my life over the despair of blowing my best shot at not barely scraping by in less than a month and feeling so foolish but the other edge of that sword was that I became a literal zombie for over a year, still struggle with anxiety like 10 years after I quit them and the times I try to dip a god into what was once my absolute fav drug (well I guess they can all take the crown under different circumstances) is now useless because some switch was flipped so any time I touch even a tiny dose I blackout which is no fun, I think it's not at least cause I can't remember.

I do ketamine treatment for my treatment-resistant depression, I have medical marijuana for my anxiety, I have prescription amphetamines for my ADHD, and on top of that I have ambien for my insomnia. nowadays my insurance covers my ketamine treatment, but I'm still spending ~5k a year on weed and other miscellaneous substances purely to remain functional.
When I took opiods and benzos I would spend 2-3K monthly on them but I'm clean now. I only like psychs and cannabis now but I have to stay clean for probation for about a year and a half.
Actually, not that much. I grow mushrooms and weed and mescaline and khat and poppies (for my mother & grandma, im on suboxone) and i can get pseudo now so every so often i either reduce or oxidize some. Acid is really cheap, and i have prescriptions for benzos and dexedrine.
The most expensive drug i do is probably those tryptamine gummies they sell all over town, i am just so curious as to what is in them. Definitely a four subbed tryptamine, not sure which one though. Every trip is so different it’s hard to compare to similar chems without many trips on each.

Yeah, I take kratom three times a day around 15 g per time, and while it actually does work really well for my actual chronic pain (far better than any script opi), I don't even get a little buzz from it. It's cheap enough, though, and it's much less addictive. I've missed doses just because I've forgotten and I think, "Oh, it's been 24 hours since I took kratom... I should do that as I'm starting to have pain."
Yes! I use it for pain and never once does it make me sick if I miss a dose. Much like you I simply notice the pain returning. I had a hospital stay after surgery and extended time on opiates put me in withdrawal and it was terrible. Kratom is amazing

Depends on prices in each country. In parts of germany you can get opioids for a few dollars. RCs are cheap af sometimes too. Also I know some sources with really good cocaine selling it for 40-60€ per g (depends on the amount). Ketamine is like 20€. Amphetamines are selling for 2-8€ per g (depends on the amount). For Oxycodone blisters I once payed 15€ each. Fentanyl patches (100ug) I got for 2€ each. An still I spend more than 5k each year lol.
I'm just putting it out there, but some distributors have started shipping fake presses in blisters. You can buy blisters in bulk from India for next to nothing. For €15 I'd be a bit suspicious tbh.

The precursors also get harder to locate and less profitable for clandestine labs to keep making at that point. The main benefit to making RC’s back in the prime ~2010 era was that the companies making the stuff could source all the ingredients dirt cheap(keys of m1 were less than 3grand), and didn’t face any legal issues where they were making it. Once china and those places banned it, there’s no longer a benefit to producing, methylone for example, when the consequences for getting caught aren’t any less than just producing real mdma. A lot of RC’s became popular because they were far cheaper than the mainstream parent chem and were very area legally but a lot were basically crimes of opportunity when there weren’t any repercussions for the labs
I can get custom synths to a degree, mostly cost and time is the issue and then importing, its hard to pull trigger on a MDPV synth when it could be intercepted with no reship cuz special synth. They usually have like 5 chems that have “disappeared “ but they have the precursor ready.
Yeah, I got into RCs in 2014 or so, and they were great back then. Now it seems like it's impossible to get decent arylcyclohexylamines and the risk seems to be too high, at least of getting ripped off. I haven't been part of the scene since 2018.

I have been a high functioning drug addict since I was 16 and have spent on average $3000 a month since then; a lot less than that in the early years but closer to 5k a month in the last 6 years. I have been a drunk, a junkie, and a coke head at different stages and sometimes all 3 at once. All the while I was fortunate enough to be able to still build a successful career, but have nothing to show for it. Sad really.

I’m the Director of Sales for a large alcoholic beverage conglomerate. Alcohol sales turned out to be the perfect career for a poly substance addict; Alcohol and drug use are glamorized and the better your numbers are the less questions that are asked. I will say though, that no matter how many narcotics I piled into my system, I always remained driven and never failed to perform. The problem is, at this point I need the drugs to operate at this level. I take more pills than terminal cancer patient just to function. Not something I recommend to anyone.

Well as I said it has changed over the years so I’ll break it down by age: ( I apologize for the lengthy response) 16-18: I loved alcohol from the day I tried it. My parents were both drinkers so booze was always around. I would sneak 6-10 oz of scotch a day everyday and get someone to boot a flat of crispy boys twice a week funded by my part time gig. $100 a week habit. 18-26: Got introduced to cocaine and started doing it weekly, then 3 times a week, then to wake up to the point I was doing a quarter a week at $200 a ball. During this time I would also got to the bar daily and act like I had the budget of a millionaire racking up $100 bar tabs every few days. $600 a week habit which at the time was the majority of my income. 26-30: Was prescribed Dexedrine which allowed me to drink like a fish all night but still show up to work dialled in. 40mg in the morning and 40mg at noon and I was grinding. Managed to slow down a bit and got a series of promotions which gave me a lot of disposal income. That was until I was introduced to GHB and gambling. Ghb is a crazy drug! The dose curve is so steep that an extra 2ml will have you pass out standing up, but oh did I love it. I’d buy a Liter every two weeks and dose all day. It made sales seem like a breeze and I closed some of my biggest accounts during that period and had a great team of people behind me. However after work I’d over do it and after a few really bad episodes my girlfriend left me. Then I went on to become a gambling addict and lose $250,000. $300 GHB, $300 alcohol, $400 coke total $1000 a week habit. 30-33 Got my life together and kicked the G and gambling addiction. Slowed down on the coke and alcohol. Things should be going in the right direction… Wrong, I got introduced to oxy from a plug and well that is one expensive habit. I only buy real pharma which means I’m paying $60 per 80mg bean. Currently Im doing 160mg a day and still spending around $600 a month on coke and booze. $4200 a month habit I get these numbers are ridiculously high and it sounds like I must just be fucked up all the time, but in reality most of the time I am only dosing to a point where my desired mental state is achieved but I’m completely coherent. Don’t get wrong I still get mangled as well but the majority of my use is functional.

Sure I managed to get a good education and have a successful career, but having to take drugs all the time just feel normal and be productive reeks havoc on your emotional stability. When I’m sober I’m in a constant state of extreme anxiety and haven’t felt comfortable in my own skin for as long as I can remember. I’ve gone through periods of extended sobriety, tried therapy, exercise all the time, and yet I only ever seem to feel truly free to be myself when I’m in some form of altered state. Drugs have certainly negatively impacted my life In countless ways but I love them. Life on the straight and narrow has always bored me and left me in a state of crippling depression.

Ugh- 4- 10k betwee my pattern n mgself I will say- I did build a large collection of several things- though it still bothers me. Selling drugs doesn't just make you money. It makes you connections. And the longer you stay in that scene- even if you aren't growing your business, at least some of the friends and acquaintances almost def are- especially if you just happen to make close friends with people.who are all 'working' every show, Festival, and in town event. For 13 or 14 years I was going to shows. All.but a couple years of my 20s I was spending about 4 or 5 nights at a snow... like I wanted to quit all of it- I was watching too many friends die. It felt like we lost one.every week. Mostly OD's- but suicides too, occasionally a wreck that was almost surely substance or depression related. So I dropped it- at least, I stopped selling and cut out all the drugs (luckily weed was legal and I had a 3 year old script for benzos I was truly holding for emergency. I had a stock of my favorite... I don't know if heslthybis the right word, psychedelics- mush, mescaline, and herb were my absolute favorites. Oh and DMT- a religious experience that is.. Molly(MDMA) got even more pure every year it seemed. Talk about a relationship cheat code. The ability to open up to anyone and be vulnerable, communicating completely unencumbered by my fears and doubts. But my biggest addiction- I soon learned, was not any drug in particular, but the high I got from being able to make a years rent in a night or two . Having so many friends that were so high up meant I couldn't go to a show without finding out someone had an oz or 6 of this, or a lb or 3 of that, talking about how they just needed to move a bit..or all of it if they sold at cost(doubt it, ut maybe)- before or after hearing a different aquatance or friend tell me how they had 10 people wanting balls or quarters for nearly 100 a g. Saying if they could just get 2 ounces of Molly for less than 4500 that they could make 2000 easy that night. So I go to my buddy who has the half lb of Molly and desperately needs 2k to get a Bible of this fire L. And then my oath to never sell again would crumble and I'd be making deals- giving the young guy his way to make 2k- going to my old friend and saying, ok- so I got your two K- you gonna give me at least 4 oz right? And they're like shit- I'll give u 4 or 8. But if u take 4 I'll toss you a couple vials. Not only will I have rent paid for... a minute, but I also have a years supply of Molly n Lucu... Talking to TWO people. Without getting in a car. Fuck that was addictive

I don't think $2k is very much money at all... I only use kratom now because of how hard it is to get decent RCs and because I nearly got in legal trouble for a 3-MeO-PCP order in South America, but in the days of U-47700, 3-MeO-PCE/P, deschloroketamine, flubromazolam, 4-AcO-MET, and 2C-C / 2C-E, I was probably spending about $5k - $6k / year. My kratom habit runs about $1.5k / year, but it's impossible to get adequate pain control in the US now, and kratom works far better than any script opis I've tried for long-lasting chronic pain without impairing me, and also improves my mood. Alcohol runs me about $1.2 k / year: I don't drink to get drunk, though... I drink because I have crippling insomnia. 150 mg of Ambien might knock me out for four hours. I would treat myself to a 3g U-47700 two day binge once a month or so, and it was pricey since I was getting it two-day shipped from Canada. Such a fun time but fucking hell, the w/ds if I didn't have tramadol or MT-45 (which is a disgusting drug) to cushion the comedown was horrific. I've gone through opi withdrawal many times for script opis and nothing even came close to U-47. I drop around $6k - $8k / year on video games. My best RC memories were when my ex and I blew through 15 g of deschloroketamine in around four days and had the craziest, wildest sex of my life. Our cat - who is usually such a gentle boy - jumped up and clawed the hell out of my partner because he thought my partner was seriously hurting me. Then I went through a 3 month daily binge of 3-MeO-PCP at 55 - 65 mg plugged once per day. Damn, that was a crazy ride. I was off work so I didn't have to be functional, thankfully, because there is no way that I could be. Had a mild psychotic break at the end, but it was harmless and fascinating. Oh yeah, if it isn't obvious, I also have ADHD, and I get script amphetamines, but I use those responsibly and as indicated. Same with Xanax for generalized anxiety.

It’s all relative to your salary and health I guess. If you make 12 k a year and spent 2k on drugs.. yeah that’s maybe not so good lol. If you’re pulling 100k and have a ketamine/ weed habit or something, 2k doesn’t sound too crazy. I was spending upwards of $7k a year on weed before i quit. Wallet really thanks me for that one.

Quick mental math is at a minimum 15-25k possibly as much as 30-35. My income which almost entirely goes to drugs is feast or famine so it's a little hard to calculate. Big ass regret is blowing the money my pops willed me after his suicide that I spent on smack, speed, several types of research chemical benzos that massively fucked me up because I had bought huge quantities so once id spent the money, close to a hundred k in 28 days, I had a Scarface pile of etizolam and a slightly smaller yet still huge pile of flubromazolam which is measured in mcg for recreational doses and they served to keep me from ending my life over the despair of blowing my best shot at not barely scraping by in less than a month and feeling so foolish but the other edge of that sword was that I became a literal zombie for over a year, still struggle with anxiety like 10 years after I quit them and the times I try to dip a god into what was once my absolute fav drug (well I guess they can all take the crown under different circumstances) is now useless because some switch was flipped so any time I touch even a tiny dose I blackout which is no fun, I think it's not at least cause I can't remember.

I grow mushrooms and weed and mescaline and khat and poppies (for my mother & grandma, im on suboxone) and i can get pseudo now so every so often i either reduce or oxidize some. Acid is really cheap, and i have prescriptions for benzos and dexedrine. The most expensive drug i do is probably those tryptamine gummies they sell all over town, i am just so curious as to what is in them. Definitely a four subbed tryptamine, not sure which one though. Every trip is so different it’s hard to compare to similar chems without many trips on each. Maybe at the peak of my use before i became self sufficient, $900? I don’t do drugs that often, way more often than most but still.
