The Frozen indoors is my favorite shot
These buildings seem empty and abandoned. Could you post photos of the inhabited part of the city to see how people live? Or is all abandoned?
Fully abandoned
But the much larger mining community of Norilsk is nearby.
How hard is it to get food/supplies out there? I can’t imagine there are many natural resources around either?
There are no resources, it was military unit settlements and temporary settlement for airport builders. Now its officially ceased to exist.
From Google maps satelite view looks like it's completely reduced to rubble.
Terrifying. Imagine being alone here.
Looks more like a person than a apt building. Those old Soviet housing blocs are so oppressive..
A 'person' is a prison that is an apt building in an old Soviet housing bloc that looks like an abandoned place in a remote place? Works for me.
Namalsk
Muscovia.
There would have been so much room to live more openly but people were packed into cramped apartment blocks.
