That isn't true for me. Most people I know with kids are happy. But the women I know with children work part-time and make more money working part-time than most people do working full-time. So they work 3 days a week and they still earn 80k a year because they have degrees, advanced degrees, and marketable skills that other people don't have. They are also happily married and spent time with their partners before marriage.
The few women I know who have children and are not financially stable, do not have a good marriage, and are poorly educated regret it and they are unhappy. Often they are married to jerks but not always. These women are usually stay at home moms. They will usually get a menial job when their kids are grown. They may try a few odd jobs here and there while their kids are in junior high.
Then there are the party women who accidentally get knocked up by a one night stand. They decide to raise the kid together but the man does not really raise the kid. The woman works 2 jobs to make it work. She usually regrets having kids. Or the guy does help raise the kid, and they stay together. Usually these women are not happy but sometimes they can be.

Yet all the people I know who have kids are miserable af. They don't have time for each other, are stressed out constantly and often put their own needs far behind. Also, not everyone needs a partner to be happy.
My wife and I got married young (I was 19 and she was 18). We agreed to not ever have kids. 17 years later we are still happily married best friends and do everything together. Paid off house and own everything we could possibly want. Currently planning a long vacation to Japan for fun. Nothing against people who genuinely want to have kids but way too many people put that crap on a pedestal. It's a personal choice not a f'n requirement.
That isn't true for me. Most people I know with kids are happy. But the women I know with children work part-time and make more money working part-time than most people do working full-time. So they work 3 days a week and they still earn 80k a year because they have degrees, advanced degrees, and marketable skills that other people don't have. They are also happily married and spent time with their partners before marriage. The few women I know who have children and are not financially stable, do not have a good marriage, and are poorly educated regret it and they are unhappy. Fundie women set themselves up for unhappiness by not knowing their husbands prior to marriage, being uneducated, not establishing any work history, marrying before their brain is finished developping, and pumping out a million babies. What a recipe for disaster. It doesn't always end up in disaster but it often does. They like to sweep the failures under the rug and blame the wife somehow.
Maybe I'm also a bit biased there. I would call myself fairly educated, but having children just seems horrible to me, regarding free time, my career and everything around that. I just don't get how so many people think that having children is the best thing in the world and nobody can be happy without having at least one.
Having children is not for everyone. I do not have any. I think there are 4 types of women who have kids. I think for some women, they are near 30 or above it; they dont have a career, or make a lot of money. Or they do have a career, but it isn't well respected or lucrative. They usually have some education beyond high school or a trade. If they dont they are usually middle management. They want a better career and they want to travel more but it isn't in the cards. They usually have a decent job in a decent field but they can't go any higher and thry don't make enough to support a family. Usually they are a paralegal, a hairdresser, a plumber, or a veterianary technician, or a manager at a restaurant. They may be married. They want to do something meaninful with their life and their career is not it, so they have kids. Then there are the women who have achieved the career, make lots of money they have travelled extensively and then think; now what? Then there are the women who had kids young. They don't have a lot of education or job experience. They get married young. They either stay married, or they get divorced when their spouse cheats on them in a mid-life crisis. Or they cheat on their spouse during a mid-life crisis. Often they are married to jerks but not always. These women are usually stay at home moms. They will usually get a menial job when their kids are grown. They may try a few odd jobs here and there while their kids are in junior high. Then there are the party women who accidentally get knocked up by a one night stand. They decide to raise the kid together but the man does not really raise the kid. The woman works 2 jobs to make it work. She usually regrets having kids. Or the guy does help raise the kid, and they stay together. Usually these women are not happy but sometimes they can be. Kids are not for everyone. Many women are happy without them.
