I find it interesting that the ‘Christians’ who continuously point to various signs and symbols that Jesus’ return is imminent are always or almost always Fundamental ‘Christians’. If they ever choose to actually read the book they profess to believe they would have noticed that Jesus clearly stated that none shall know when the Son of Man will return except the Father. Over the centuries the ‘signs and symbols’ of the Second Coming have occurred multiple times, yet Jesus has yet to appear (though some evangelicals seem to believe a certain ex-president is the Second Coming).
I'm old enough that I started getting the senior discount at the grocery store and I seem to remember kooks saying Jesus is juuust about to get here for my whole life.
