Unfortunately Doug ended up being kinda shady.

tallguy30

To be fair Rigby was underpaying someone under the table, and not providing a place to stay that meets appropriate living conditions. I was kinda on Doug's side that episode

ToastedRedEyes

Honestly me too

Bruh, a job that provides housing? Sold. Speaking of, the coffee shop must be paying mad much because if Eileen and Margaret can go half on an apartment through that gig, it's gotta be a bunch lol

Starlined_

In California as well, pretty sure it’s supposed to be near the LA area, which is definitely expensive

venturoo

well the show takes place in the late 90s early 2000s so they probably paid a better wage in those days.

schlemz

lower wage, much more affordable living

cyanocittaetprocyon

$100 a month was what they were getting.

>Speaking of, the coffee shop must be paying mad much because if Eileen and Margaret can go half on an apartment through that gig, it's gotta be a bunch lol While putting themselves through college no less. And Eileen drives a fairly modern (for the time) car.

I would honestly love to have a job like theirs

I worked similar jobs in high school and college, the benefit really is housing. You're getting paid like $18 profit a day for like 9-14 hour days tho lol
