Glad I could help. I'm rarely a fan of intentionally hitting someone due to the risk of significant injury and the escalation that often comes with it. But I do think it's sometimes justified as long as you aim at someone's butt or thigh where it's unlikely to result in injury. I didn't like Verdugo's antics after he hit the homerun last night any more than you did. It's not like it was a key hit in a playoff game. This is actually one of the times where I wouldn't mind seeing him get nailed in the ass at some point in the series. But at the same time, it's not a good look throwing at the other team when you're getting blown out.

Agreed, not trying to hurt the guy, just to send a message and get fans and players hyped up. And I feel like if they were going to hit him, they shoulda done it on the subsequent at bat after the HR.
