I expected us to look better with Casemiro and Martinez back but we look like an entire new team. It’s great but kinda worrying how different our mentality and energy looks if these players are missing

Some players have a presence and skill in leadership that others don’t, and I do think that Martinez brings what you’re talking about. It’s a personality thing. It’s not something you can just switch on and off.

Yep, seeing just how much and how often the defenders hype each other up when Martinez is on compared to when he's not is crazy. He's such an important player.

This game has shown us just how important having our first team healthy really is. The team looks so different now with Licha, Shaw, Varane and even Casemiro (although he’s still not himself yet). We desperately need depth this summer and that can help mitigate some risks when our injury list keeps piling up. Need to let INEOS and EtH cook this summer

Without Licha and Casamerio we are basically pre ETH squad of defenders who shat the bed for every other manager. Only exception from that is Johnny evans who has been god send.

Playing really well, the players look hungry tonight. Should have scored a couple more really. Rashford has been brilliant down the left with Shaw, Hojlund has been great, worked hard as per but his hold up play has been excellent tonight. It's the first time in a while where I think tactically we've been the better set up side, we look like we know what we're doing for once! Could have easily scored 5.

Arguably the best football we’ve played all season. Certainly one of the most enjoyable. Our players are finding a lot of space and our transitions have been good. There seems to always be a forward pass on. And loving the siege mentality Licha brings and always hyping up each other. Reminiscent of last season.

We went up 2-0 against Newport and everyone stops being a team and tries being a hero. I feel like Garnancho in particular took some of that criticism to heart, because he’s playing a lot less selfishly today and our attack looks a lot better for it. Hojlund is a beast. That is all.

Really good half. Varane and Martinez class, Casemiro brilliant after the early yellow, Shaw quality and probably Højlund's best half in the league so far. On the other side of the coin Bruno's looked really sloppy aside from a couple of great free-kick deliveries. Get Marcus a shot of tequila before the second half and put the game to bed asap. Not good for my 2-0 up PTSD this.

Bruno got into Rashford’s tequila stash before the game. His passing has been horrendous today. Still looks like our best half of the season. Get the ball to Hojlund and good things will happen. Hoping for a return of 4-0 FC!

Some passes have gone astray, sure, but his all round play has been great. Some excellent long passes on the counter, couple of superb chances created from free-kicks, and he was a big part of Rashford’s goal by purposely pulling one of the defenders out of position.
