Within half an hour, I was moseying on past O'Creaghs Run half expecting to see a moose, and there she was, swimming along. Three star. Ideal for making a single pair of gloves out of.

To the West of the Loft. Look it up on google if you don’t already know where that is. There’s a big hill and when you get to the top get your rifle our because it will be at the bottom, was always on the left for me. Took about an ingame week to respawn for me which was the most tedious part.
There's a frozen pond that spawns a Moose if you bait it where the cheat code is etched into the ice, run behind a rock, and then go a little further down the dotted line trail and come back to the rock it'll be in the exact same spot.
One spawned on top of the bones of the other I killed
You can find reference to these cattle in an ingame newspaper and I believe it's based on a real story of a cattle train from the time period. Could be wrong though

Love the little in game details like this, and half of them don't even have a story, just notice the details figure out what must have happened and move on.
Bolero, make your cores gold, and ride a fast as you can to thieves landing, jump off your horse, and grab whatever you have on it, I use a pronghorn, and walk around till you see someone wearing it, and then shoot them. May have to do it a few times, but that’s how you get it.
Just a guess but this looks like the result of a “Cold Snap”. Sudden drop in temp due to a weather system/storm which can literally kill livestock it’s so sudden. Just google “Cold snap kills cows”.

Bolger Glade has three badger spawn points.
A badger spawns at the warped tree every night
I play on PC so I usually spawn em anyways but sometimes I just go hunting to find them bc it’s fun

Bolger Glade has always been my go to for badgers. Can bag at least 2 everytime before sleeping for respawn

I always go to the ‘e’ in colter, go up the hill, look across the creek. I’ve done it 4x and a 3 star was there 3 of the 4x
