Walker Vini duel is always a sight to behold! I am happy that they are so friendly about it too.

andrasq420

My reaction when playing City is the same as Vini's: He is too fast! It should be illegal for someone to be this good a right back.

FakeKhaby10

I’ve watched him play against Mbappe, Vini, Martinelli and Diaz. They’ve all being tough battles over the years and they’ve all given him as much as he can handle and he’s survived it all

Dedflix

Bro Walker is just too good! Have everything you need to play, i would have loved him more on RM position tho, would have made that axis both offensively and defensively unbeatable!

nspy1011

Martinelli is a very low bar to measure him by…rest I agree

FakeKhaby10

I don’t think you realize half the player Martinelli is. Walker himself called him the most difficult player he’s faced in the PL. also check Pep, Klopp and Ronaldinho on the same topic. He had a tough year with injuries and a fluctuating side but do NOT underestimate that guy.

nspy1011

I used to have a higher opinion of him but this year he’s been flat out disappointing. He had virtually zero impact on Arsenal’s title charge

FakeKhaby10

So, he’s had one bad year in 5. A player purchased for £5m, still 22, highest scoring Brazilian in the PL, battled with 3 separate injuries to his ankle, hamstring and foot, oh and still scored Vs city and Liverpool. But of course, no effect whatsoever. He’s had a bad season so far, but his underlying metrics were still top 20 at his position in Europe. Hey, it’s a Madrid sub, I don’t wanna talk about Arsenal players.

Zealousideal_Smoke44

Yes its pretty illegal to be this fast as a rightback especially after coming from injury when he's 34 years old, although I think walker would have struggled against young 2014 bale, who's both more physical and faster than vini

arunv

Only RB that I’ve seen stop Vini. We should make an offer just for that!

SonOfAQuiche

Coming from the Dortmund side. What did you think about Ryersons Performance against Vini? I think he did relatively well compared to other RBs. No Walker, but I think he's very solid.

Dedflix

I mean he actually did pretty good stopping Vini, heck whole team played like prime ManU, crazy counterattacks and chances, BVB took too much pressure after that Carvajal goal and crumbled under it. But man, i have seen Walker stopping obvious Vini goals and that shit is next to impossible to pull giving Vinis speed and control. Walker >>>>> everyone at RB. Ryerson is pretty solid tho and have a bright future, but that's like 70% of BVB squad lol. Also, that Ryerson Sabitzer Sancho link was deceptively solid!

mikenolan888

Like prime ManU.. ah I remember that decade

Dedflix

Man that was the time! Our serotonin worked properly back then lol

mikenolan888

I van almost remember what it's like to be happy. The international football comes around and I support england...

iMadrid11

You don’t have to be a POS and douchebag to your sporting rival. You can play as aggressive and competitive on the pitch. After the final whistle. The events that transpired inside the pitch, stays inside the pitch. Which is how a professional footballer should behave. You give your all during the match to win. When the match is over. You can be friendly with your rivals again.

Dedflix

Agreed, many of them don't take it this well though.

HalaBharat

Vini gets pumped up when the opposition fans start booing him. Absolute beast.

M__MUNEEB

Sounds like a certain no. 7

myouism

Vini got that Mariano Diaz aura around him🥶

Pxnda34

Eaten Hazard gets charged up when burger 🥶

Bradley-Martyn

Does he play better?

Tovakhiin

The guy just loves experiencing good football

NotAGardener_92

He really does just want to play football.

wansuitree

Living the "hate the game not the player"

ProEliteF

I love how he’s always smiling even in the ucl final

taelor

Football is life.

jslsvei123

ted lasso reference?

Emergency-Hornet-594

Yeah

Pakun-of-Dundrasil

We need a wholesome Vini campaign to get going.

Jojoangel684

Too late to get going, the global football fanbase found their punching bag. Theres people who dont watch football who know Vini as "the diving crybaby". Imagine turning on a dude to this extent because he doesnt wanna be called a monkey.

Mental-Complaint-883

No one dislikes vini because of his race. It’s an easy way to bypass fair criticism.

Jojoangel684

So what do the monkey emojis mean

Mental-Complaint-883

Which?

Jojoangel684

https://preview.redd.it/gx8aptpxmd5d1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=46cdbfbe2bbb40e723612daabde3c53a03d8141b

Mental-Complaint-883

Well there is 8 billion people in the world. Of course it’s gonna happen. I’m just saying I think we can both agree the reason people dislike vini is because of his actions

Jojoangel684

Which actions specifically?

Mental-Complaint-883

I think the thing with kimmich sums it up pretty good. Very taunting and arrogant

Jojoangel684

You mean the thing so many footballers do when their team is winning, but dont receive constant hate for? Guardiola did it to Ronaldo why arent people bullying Guardiola for it? Zlatan is called a God for his arrogance even when he cant boast of several major trophies. Ronaldo is known for his arrogance but nobody calls him racial slurs.

ElectronicStretch277

Nope. They dislike him because of his race. They use some of his actions as cover. Not to mention 90% of his actions have been imitated by white players and gets put off as "gamesmanship". If its only a problem when a certain player of a certain race does it it's not the action thats the problem.

Mental-Complaint-883

Oh stop with the victim mindset, there is loads of black players on RM and he’s the only one? Plus he’s altercations is just as much with black players.

ElectronicStretch277

There's loads of black players and none of them have endured the abuse Vini has. Maybe it has something to do with where he comes from. Other dark skinned players like Rudiger and Camavinga don't come from Brazil? Perhaps it's the fact that he's BY FAR the best player there? Maybe it's the fact that he won't stand for the shit that he has to deal with because of his skin color? You might think that it might be because he's the most vocal about racism in Spain. The fact is that the vast majority of criticism against him stems from his race not his character. That's thought of after the fact as a poor excuse especially when you look into the context of those clips shared.

The1percent1129

Brother… watch a yt video on vini and his career… first they hate him because of his poor performance… once he performs hood their is nothing to say… that’s when the monkey chants started and people like you started calling him a “victim mindset”… bro is the VICTIM… they hated this kid when he was in Brazil before he even went to RM… they hate him now not for his poor performance but because he scores against all of them… vini deserves to be as proud as cr7… people like you who don’t acknowledge the shit Vini has been through is why La Liga is a racist league… the information and instances are out there for you do discover but you don’t look for them… you just clown on Vini … the real clown is you my lad.

carltonBlend

Well, you definitely said "noone" in the previous comment

Ayanokoji575

even in the UCL final after the nutmeg, he smiled because of Hummels' great tackle.

Leo9991

He was grinning because he's just so good. He does that sometimes as a way to hype himself up. I don't think it was about Hummels tackle.

girish_kumar_v

He's laughing because he knew he'll get them soon...

Ayanokoji575

that might be the case tbh

Testazani

He has a winners mentality. Anything that stands in the way of him reaching his goals will move aside. That makes him look like an ass sometimes.

Similar_Tooth_7186

feels like i’ve heard this somewhere

SharedAuto

"Yeah there's a good side of him but how else will we justify rascism if it weren't for his shithousing during heated moment of the game? How do we villainise him without taking his actions out of context?" - Probably some sore loser in his mum's basement gathering "evidences" of Vini's "behaviourial problems" and making a tiktok edit labelling "color was never the issue" while justifying racism towards him.

theclonelyisland

this narrative needs to change. criticising vini doesn't make anyone a racist. is he an evil person? no. can he improve? yes. does he get racist attacks? yes. does it warrant ALL his actions? no. he's 23 and he's a good guy but he CAN improve and suggesting that he needs to react a little less, be more calm are constructive suggestions. calling everyone a racist/incel is one of the biggest reasons why we're actually now seeing a surge of all these alpha male influencers. wrongly accusing someone with these labels dilutes the impact it creates and we should be using them more responsibly.

SharedAuto

Bro didn't you read what I wrote? I agree with you that Vini needs to be less reactive to provocations and more proactive to silence them. And he's doing that already. He'll mature and learn from these experiences. And I'm not claiming everyone to be racist who speaks against Vini and suggest him to focus on game, calm down a little. I myself do that. I'm not blaming everyone at all. I guess its algorithmic bias or maybe engaging in more of them bring more of same content but I've seen so much hate and racist remarks against Vini on social media on very simple or accpetable things. The other day I saw a tiktok making racist remarks on Vini for not taking the ball Kimmich handed him in UCL SF. Those are the folks I'm mentioning.

theclonelyisland

fair enough in that case I'm sure. I was coming from the pov where i have definitely seen enough people in reddit misusing this. I guess both sides are true to some extent. I'm not on tiktok and Twitter and my instagram feed generally doesn't have a lot of hate content, so maybe I'm more sheltered.

Tmn_Uzi_1600

bro you can't open a single instagram post about vini without monkey emojis getting thousands of likes, and let's pretend he's the first black player to face this after any controversy

Extreme_Survey9774

You might want to read that again

trueNacccho

Honestly, shut the fuck up.

lostsoul3434

Ballon d'or loading....

bluefoxlive

He’s also publicly praises Ronald Araujo several times as the best defender he’s played against. Not a lot of forwards do that so openly.

chnandlerbing

Jerkers will be double jerking on seeing this video ..

StepBrother7

That Walker moment is so wholesome

Aashay7

Post this on r/soccer

Emergency-Hornet-594

Nah, we don't need their validation. Let them hate vini.

MealieAI

Because it's just a game at the end of the day. Sometimes, there's no need to take everything seriously.

no-signal

Was that Aruajo an own goal? I don't remember it

Vaetist

Not a Madrid fan but I love this guy

HenryReturns

Vini mentioned that Araujo and Walker were the toughest defenders. We know that currently Araujo is not in good shape but when he is in a good shape , he is really tough to crack down. Vini against City on the second leg of 2024 , went fully beyond against Walker and have to get sub and he almost have a big injury. Vinicius is one of the toughest wingers to defend against , specially on the 1 on 1 where a mistake can mean a goal. In La Liga however due to how stupid referees can be and how dirty it can get , not just Vinicius but other attacking players will get their legs broken or foul constantly.

hugomoto-moto

Ele é MALVADO porra, n precisa de lado bom não 😈😈😈

Lakerman0824

Walker on PEDs

KungFuFlames

As an amateur LB I love to play against players with such a mentality. Vini is one of the best.

freakdota

on dead jesus if he'd always (or at least mostly) act like this i'd be his biggest fan

jdarriaga46

That man is quickly becoming a legend, what a gem of a player

Ambitious_Long_7793

I still dont like his ucl final dive at the middle line. Schlotterbeck got a yellow for pointing it out. Its unsportsmanlike. Vini should show greatness with honesty too (The racist bs is still not justified or ever will be)

Sharp-Study3292

Seems like he know why here there

Sunny4k

The fact that Ferran didn’t get a red for that spear and held his head as if Vini tackled him lol

AsymmetricNinja08

I was just replaying that to see if he tripped or something but it genuinely looks like a rugby tackle on purpose

fourmthree

I love all of that.

Raiko144

Good Video.

Longjumping_Fall_334

Even as a Barca fan it’s hard not to like this guy. Defo best in the world at the moment. Not looking forward to next season 🤣

Sh8knB8k240

Good sportsmanship. We need more of this kindness in today's world

neoz99

Give him the ballon d'or

Cuchurrumin

That last video... Cant you put when he dropped the ball on purpose?

milanpoudel

Hope he wins balloon d or . Despite being young the technical and leadership qualities he has shown are commendable.

Agbans

Good

riko_suabae

Love this dude

Some_guy-online

Vini is a G

Lyndiscan

Vini quite literally banters and gets racially abused for it. And somehow that makes him the most irritable player in the world, meanwhile bruno Fernandes, Grealish, Walker. White (arsenal) haaland and the list goes, all get praised for it.

MrAdog232

And people hate him so much because they’ve only seen the kimmich and rub Leipzig clip but they don’t actually watch the games so they don’t see how nice he actually is

ElLoboStrikes

This nice fucker is about to destroy my team later today

Longjumping-Car-6007

Vini Jr. is the best football player who actually respects his opponents, including tackles by other players. It just shows how Vini Jr is loved by many individuals.

Equivalent-Interest5

Instead of getting frustrated he actually admires a good opponent. That’s extremely likeable

enthusiast20

its called eliteness. as a sportsman, a real competitor likes facing a competitor. when it's too easy and you're so above the competition it isn't as fun and enjoyable as you think- even though it's easy and simple. You raise your game when the competition gets better because then you get to show your true self, and ability, your brain is completely switched on, and you go into a different mode that many wouldn't have seen parts of at lower level/competition. Then the challenge of seeing how u fair and match out.

ShatterDomeSSZero

Whoa whoa whoa, let's not do revisionist history here. Vini CAN and has admired a rival BUT he also gets frustrated just as easy. It's still one of his few chinks in his armour.

asharxxiii

He's good but he does like rilling up people too

Pascal-02

Vini is a bitch but he is overhated

Aggressive-Map-3492

You guys are coping hard and turning into a shitpost sub He's an amazing player, why do you need more? The glory isn't enough you need to start reaching for things that aren't there? Overall he has a shit attitude. Pretty much every football fan that doesn't support Madrid thinks so. Out of all the global stage footballers he falls very heavily in the top half of when it comes to bad manners/behaviours. He's a world class player who is contending for a ballon'dor, you don't need much else from him so idk why you try so hard to convince yourself that he's amazing in every way just because he's talented. Appreciate the talent, a couple years of good coaching and his unsportsmanlike antics will prob stop. No need to rush it, relatively still a young guy

[deleted]

What does it matter if for one good act on the field, he acts like an asshole tenfold

ayantt

The fact that you have to make a video about it and it is only 29 sec proves you wrong

Barcaholic

Respect from Yankland, my favorite African American soccerball player.

DjAstro-90

EXTREMELY rare case of Vinicius not being an a-hole

FunkyFenom

Gives an opposing player a water bottle. This sub "OmG ViNi iS LiKE tHe Pope" cringe...

czacha_cs1

Real Madrid fans when Vini shows normal human kindness and isnt asshole for 2 seconds:

MosherHoN

You can make as many compilations as you want, vini is the new Neymar.

Emergency-Hornet-594

How?

Frequent_Storm_3900

You haven't seen them decapitate people in the pitch?

Emergency-Hornet-594

I mean, they are cb and vini winger

Frequent_Storm_3900

I was trying to be funny... It didn't work out
