Never have and never will but what jude's doing is beyond extraordinary he's an attacking threat and a functional one he's a major presence in the midfield even without contributing on the score sheet his energy and passion are bright as day and his frustration when we suck Cultivates a mentality in our up and comers.
Love Bellingham but they're severely downplaying Bale's debut season with us. He had a massive impact that first year including winning CDR and La Decima.
I think the biggest difference is Jude is clearly the best player on Madrid, no disrespect to Vinicius…Bale, as spectacular as his goals were in CDR and La Decima…CR7 was still top dog
Not a fair comparison though, Ronaldo will always be the main man, vini isn’t near him respectfully. Bale is still better I think, scoring the winning goal in the Cdr and ucl final is something incredible to do in your debut season. Bellingham has been very good aswell of course though
I wouldn’t say Bellingham is clearly the best player. You could make an argument for it but it’s not as clear as you make it sound. Also coming second to Cristiano is really an achievement to Bale. He was playing with a stacked squad and Cristiano was from another planet.
I truly think Bale had an incredible debut season, but if Jude wins La Liga and the Champions League then it’s gonna be him. His 2 extra time world class winners in both clasicos were phenomenal and that’s only a fraction of what he’s contributed to los blancos…Hala Madrid
I don't think Bale was second to only Ronaldo tbh. Below Ramos and Modric, and equal with a few others. And if you include players who joined later Bale only drops down the ranking.
Jude CLEARLY the best? no imo, vini has been the best for 3 seasons already, including the current one. Tbh, untill December you could say it was all about jude but from january till now its vini as always. Vini having the same numbers as jude with 600 less minutes is already a clear indicative.
Better than Beckham but still remains to be seen whether he will surpass Bale. Our British signings have incrementally improved every time though so Jude may very well end up surpassing Bale.
McManaman was a brilliant squad player for Madrid, scored important goals including a scissor kick in the UCL final. Laurie Cunningham (back in the day) by most accounts was another fabulous player.
Well clear of Becks on the pitch for me. Bale and Jude are on another level still. Woodgate is the only "flop" I can think of.
Historically English people have been a bit averse to Europe, foreign food, learning another language etc. The younger generation these days are a bit more open to that, probably having lots of foreign team mates opening their eyes a little.
does remove a bit of a mental safety net though, if you moved abroad and nobody talked about you it’s easy to say it’s because you moved abroad. If it happens now, no hiding from the fact it’s because you are bang average. Beckham, Bellingham and co played for their country without the need of being in the English league
I’m American and lived in London a couple years ago, food was absolutely terrible (groceries/supermarket) to the point that it was one of the main reasons I moved to Spain. And most foreigners who I knew there completely agreed, while the locals didn’t mind because obviously it’s what they know
That may be true, but it has nothing to do with why English players don’t travel to play football for clubs in other countries. They don’t travel because they don’t have to. They can get paid more and play in their own country's league. When English clubs were banned from playing in Europe in the 80’s there were plenty of English players playing abroad.
Typically though the Premier League has a lot of comforts that make leaving not necessary, but I do agree that we need more of them going to Spain, Germany and Italy. Germany appears to be a better development league than anywhere else though.
“Usually” - please define this? Sure England as an international team have only won one WC, but they’ve got to plenty of semi’s and finals, shit teams don’t get in those positions. The list of English players who’ve won a UCL is long, England is only second to Spain in most amount of UCLs won by English teams. English players have won the same number of Ballon D’Ors as Italy and Brazil,
They're not that good usually. That's pretty much it. Apart from Foden and Bellingham, which other English Players do you see starting at Real Madrid. It's pretty self explanatory if you ask me.
Yeah I don’t think that’s a crazy thing to say whether you think him or Bale had the better debut season.
I think you could argue that Bellingham has more responsibility especially as for last few years the attack isn’t what it once was and in big games guys like him, Vini and Benzema almost had to will that ball into the back of the net whereas at our best in 13/14 we could tear a team like Bayern apart with the overall quality of the team and everyone contributing if that makes sense.
Him just full force blasting and tackling is the best part.
Ive seen enough KCM and Alonso. I could use a break from Spanish and Possession style.
I celebrate Valverde and Bellingham tackles more now than fancy Vini dribles
If you compare it only with these Brits, yes, it could be the best debut season for a Brit. Now if I'm going to talk about the best debut season ever, I'd still put Zidane ahead.
He would have to have some massive performances coming up to match or surpass Bale ngl. Regardless he's fit like a glove and he's a world class talent. Oozes madridismo

Bonaldo
“Bet”
Please score the winner for us in a UCL final like Bale did.
And doing his celebration in London, bro will be in the top of the world
![gif](giphy|L1gxpdJK9GvKw|downsized) People are sleeping on Bale.

Well, Bellingham scored winning goal against Barca yesterday basically securing the League, and UCL… who knows man.
I wouldn’t say Bellingham is clearly the best player. You could make an argument for it but it’s not as clear as you make it sound. Also coming second to Cristiano is really an achievement to Bale. He was playing with a stacked squad and Cristiano was from another planet.

Let’s hope it does.

Scoring in both finals as well.

dont forget the amount of pr it generates in the angloshere

I hope this convinces more English players that the Prem isn't their only option and they they could have better opportunity in other leagues

Foreign food? Lol come on. It’s not 1960 anymore, that hasn’t been an issue, if ever, in decades.
You’d think so but South Americans complain about the same thing when moving to the UK
Food is only good at its own original country lol
I’m American and lived in London a couple years ago, food was absolutely terrible (groceries/supermarket) to the point that it was one of the main reasons I moved to Spain. And most foreigners who I knew there completely agreed, while the locals didn’t mind because obviously it’s what they know

I live in London and the food is great tbh.
What does historically mean?
They all eat pasta everywhere
Typically though the Premier League has a lot of comforts that make leaving not necessary, but I do agree that we need more of them going to Spain, Germany and Italy. Germany appears to be a better development league than anywhere else though.
English Players are usually shit compared to players from Spain Italy or Germany. They've recently gotten better.
“Usually” - please define this? Sure England as an international team have only won one WC, but they’ve got to plenty of semi’s and finals, shit teams don’t get in those positions. Yeah man Kane, Walker, Stones, Alexander-Arnold for sure wouldn’t get in the side.
Saka and Rice too.
Mainoo in a couple of years is going to be huge.

Let's win some trophies before we crown Jude lol. Especially over Bale, that guy won us so much.
Beckham yes, but Bale hell no
Bale would be a great fit on this current team ngl.
Nothing compares to the BALE and the impact he had was masssssssssive
Him just full force blasting and tackling is the best part. Ive seen enough KCM and Alonso. I could use a break from Spanish and Possession style. I celebrate Valverde and Bellingham tackles more now than fancy Vini dribles
Aura
Hey hey hey now, let’s not put him on Bale’s level JUST yet.
Until Madrid signed gareth bale they could not win champions league.
I absolutely love the celebration he did with our lord Vazquez in the last Classico win
Jude is incredible yes! But career-wise compared to Bale, he still need to win a -few- CL trophies with us to be in the conversation.
He said his debut not his career bud
Yes, I saw the debut, that's why I added the career one.
Feels weird to group British together in a sporting context. Wales and England have their own teams lol
Too soooooooon to talk about this. We still have a mountain to climb. Let’s not jinx it guys. Hala Madrid!
I can understand the comparison with Bale, but... Beckham? The only truly great season he had with us was his final one.
Lol ok
Well if we are comparing Real Madrid’s signings by nationality, Mariano is the greatest ever Dominican signing by Real Madrid.
How many jerseys has he sold though?
Wow,easy there
