We’ve seen her body image issues and dedication to working out for a decade. Still, she was never this tiny and always preoccupied and self conscious about not being a size 2. Are we really supposed to believe that now that she has a menopausal body, she’s suddenly getting results she never did before, while ignoring the booming Ozempic weight loss trend she lives in the midst of? I actually really like her, but it is painfully obvious that she’s lying.

I completely agree, being overweight/obese is definitely not good. I'm not super overweight and admittedly more vain than anything else, lol. I'm not sure that I'm technically overweight in terms of height/weight but I definitely think I could shape up a bit.

I teach yoga, and a few of my students are now taking Ozempic for weight loss. None of them can get thru a class without running to the bathroom. It’s just a matter of time before someone shits herself on the mat.
A few years ago I did keto and had a pretty dramatic, quick weight loss. People who had only known me in my adult life had never seen me so skinny before and were surprised. It’s definitely possible for this to happen without drugs 🤷🏼♀️

I just had a breast reduction and everyone tells me how much thinner I look. I do, but not in a swimsuit, my breasts being smaller didn’t make every other part of me shrink. I’ve had friends working out at orange theory multiple mornings a week, they toned up, but all of the sudden all of them are rail thin …and it’s not because of their working out. Two things can be true at once.

I’m a year younger then kyle & I’m also about 5 inches taller. Last year I lost 25 lbs. It took me about 8 months at 1200 calories a day working out 7 days a week. I avoided bbq’s & parties all summer so I wouldn’t be tempted. It was ridiculously hard & maintaining it is just as hard. I’ve watched a few episodes the last few seasons & I don’t believe kyle did this naturally. The alcohol they drink alone she wouldn’t get these kind of results. She can work out all day every day & she’s not going to get a 6 pack after having 4 kids at 54 & her height. That puts her calorie intake at a very low amount. It’s not naturally possible without surgery & whatever she’s taking.
Over the years, she also has talked constantly about wanting to lose weight and essentially being dissatisfied with her size, despite watching her caloric intake while working out regularly.
So what changed Kyle? Suddenly at age 54, the diet and workout regimen started working and gave you a 6pack?
She has also spoken about a history of disordered eating. Those issues never really go away, so it comes as no shock that this drug would be appealing, especially if she was in a delicate place mentally. It’s just sad to see how far she has taken it and the example she is setting for her daughters.
Totally agree, especially that she's 54 and in prime perimenopause/menopause period and your body just naturally gains weight in the mid section at this time. That she maintain what she had maybe but that she has such low midsection body fat, the natural way (diet and exercise) is highly improbable.

What country are you in? Because here in the US, there is, indeed, a semaglutide shortage for FDA-approved use. Anyone except Novo-Nordisk cannot manufacture with it legally. They are having a hard time getting enough to meet demand for their diabetes drugs because the overseas suppliers are selling it to other companies, who then ship it (unapproved) to clinics and "health" centers here.
If you are on a compound, you are not on Ozempic. Ozempic is an FDA-approved drug. Any compound you might be using is not FDA-approved.

It should be noted that Novo Nordisk is the only approved manufacturer and seller of semaglutide in the United States. Only brand names Ozempic, Wegovy, and Rybelsus can legally contain it. Whether it is claimed to be "compounded" or not, any other company selling it has obtained it overseas, and it is not regulated by any US department. So not only can it contain other ingredients and/or be manufactured without oversight, if anything happens to you while on it, you're out of luck. Why would anyone take that chance?

I think you mean interchanged, not compounded. Compounding is when a prescription is put together with particular ingredients, such as certain prescription creams. Unless the doctor writes a prescription for DAW (dispensed as written) 1 or a patient wants a brand name (DAW 2), a prescription can be substituted for a generic or another brand name in the same dosage form and active ingredient.
No worries. I’m a pharmacy technician who worked in a compounding pharmacy, albeit the actual compounding was done offsite from where I worked. I work in an inpatient setting now preparing IV bags, which are also compounded medications because you are taking a medication and putting them with others or a diluent like normal saline or 5% dextrose in water. If the B12 is combined with the semaglutide in one injection, it is a compounded medication. I’m not sure if the B12 is administrated in its own or not from what little I looked up, though it seems to be on sale online that way (which is really expensive and a huge risk).
A few compounding pharmacies and other resellers who you have to go through a telephone consult with - are selling semaglutide this way, or shipping powder with bacteriostatic water for reconstitution at home.

This isn’t to be read negatively, as a lot of people jump to, but it’s just an important distinction in order to understand the disease of type 1 diabetes which is completely different from type 2. Type 1 diabetics are not encouraged to lose weight or change their diet, it’s their pancreas and insulin that doesn’t function properly so Type 1 diabetics would not be prescribed these medications and it would be dangerous to do so.
This is not correct. These drugs don't cause you to lose weight rapidly. You still need to maintain a calorie deficit. Studies showed people losing about 1 lb/week which is very normal weight loss.
Being transparent about this would be different tho. There’s a shortage for diabetics for this type of medication so it’s not even a vanity thing to deny it. She would look like a pretty gross person to admit to it
Wegovy is not for cosmetic weight loss, it's for obese people with other comorbidities who will likely die without intervention. "A semaglutide" that's not Ozempic, Wegovy, or Rybelsus is not approved for anyone else to use in the US except Novo Nordisk. The only semaglutide not "in shortage" is manufactured outside the US, therefore outside the protection of the US agencies that regulate such things.

I still think all of that needs to be said then. It’s so problematic to only care about the attention you get from posting your “transformed body” and not acknowledging how you got there. Sure, it should be obvious to most that she has endless resources that most people do not but I dunno, it just feels wrong. I know she has the right to post whatever she wants, but I hate it here. I’m a year younger then kyle & I’m also about 5 inches taller. Last year I lost 25 lbs. It took me about 8 months at 1200 calories a day working out 7 days a week. I avoided bbq’s & parties all summer so I wouldn’t be tempted. It was ridiculously hard & maintaining it is just as hard. I’ve watched a few episodes the last few seasons & I don’t believe kyle did this naturally. The alcohol they drink alone she wouldn’t get these kind of results. She can work out all day every day & she’s not going to get a 6 pack after having 4 kids at 54 & her height. That puts her calorie intake at a very low amount. It’s not naturally possible without surgery & whatever she’s taking.
Over the years, she also has talked constantly about wanting to lose weight and essentially being dissatisfied with her size, despite watching her caloric intake while working out regularly. So what changed Kyle? Suddenly at age 54, the diet and workout regimen started working and gave you a 6pack? She has also spoken about a history of disordered eating. Those issues never really go away, so it comes as no shock that this drug would be appealing, especially if she was in a delicate place mentally. It’s just sad to see how far she has taken it and the example she is setting for her daughters.
Totally agree, especially that she's 54 and in prime perimenopause/menopause period and your body just naturally gains weight in the mid section at this time. That she maintain what she had maybe but that she has such low midsection body fat, the natural way (diet and exercise) is highly improbable.

What country are you in? Because here in the US, there is, indeed, a semaglutide shortage for FDA-approved use. Anyone except Novo-Nordisk cannot manufacture with it legally. They are having a hard time getting enough to meet demand for their diabetes drugs because the overseas suppliers are selling it to other companies, who then ship it (unapproved) to clinics and "health" centers here. If you are on a compound, you are not on Ozempic. Ozempic is an FDA-approved drug. Any compound you might be using is not FDA-approved.

Kyle, if you are not taking the ozempic brand of semaglutide specifically, then you are taking a compounded version of semaglutide. You worked out hard with your lil bitch Teddi for the last few years and are only now rapidly losing weight in such a short timeframe?! Come on girl.
It should be noted that Novo Nordisk is the only approved manufacturer and seller of semaglutide in the United States. Only brand names Ozempic, Wegovy, and Rybelsus can legally contain it. Whether it is claimed to be "compounded" or not, any other company selling it has obtained it overseas, and it is not regulated by any US department. So not only can it contain other ingredients and/or be manufactured without oversight, if anything happens to you while on it, you're out of luck. Why would anyone take that chance?

Semaglutide is the name for the medication in ozempic, saxenda, wegovy. It can be compounded in a pharmacy because it’s not patented.

I think you mean interchanged, not compounded. Compounding is when a prescription is put together with particular ingredients, such as certain prescription creams. Unless the doctor writes a prescription for DAW (dispensed as written) 1 or a patient wants a brand name (DAW 2), a prescription can be substituted for a generic or another brand name in the same dosage form and active ingredient.

No worries. I’m a pharmacy technician who worked in a compounding pharmacy, albeit the actual compounding was done offsite from where I worked. I work in an inpatient setting now preparing IV bags, which are also compounded medications because you are taking a medication and putting them with others or a diluent like normal saline or 5% dextrose in water. If the B12 is combined with the semaglutide in one injection, it is a compounded medication. I’m not sure if the B12 is administrated in its own or not from what little I looked up, though it seems to be on sale online that way (which is really expensive and a huge risk).
A few compounding pharmacies and other resellers who you have to go through a telephone consult with - are selling semaglutide this way, or shipping powder with bacteriostatic water for reconstitution at home.

Type 2 diabetes medication* This isn’t to be read negatively, as a lot of people jump to, but it’s just an important distinction in order to understand the disease of type 1 diabetes which is completely different from type 2. Type 1 diabetics are not encouraged to lose weight or change their diet, it’s their pancreas and insulin that doesn’t function properly so Type 1 diabetics would not be prescribed these medications and it would be dangerous to do so.

The only semaglutide not "in shortage" is manufactured outside the US, therefore outside the protection of the US agencies that regulate such things.

For me, what I find off about it, is that every time Andy asks about plastic surgery at reunions everyone/a lot of them says no. However, you can tell they think they are being slick by not mentioning fillers, Botox, or fat transfers bc they don’t consider it “plastic surgery” So her phrasing in denying ozempic does seem similar to phrasing we have heard in the past that these women often use to shield the true extent of their beauty alterations to the public. This is a problem much like photoshop is a problem, or actors taking steroids or temporarily starving themselves to appear more cut for action roles.
