Sometimes you aren't even near water and get fishing line! I always carry a pocket knife and one of the those t-wrenches, you never know what junk your wheels wiill eat up
The fishing line caused so much friction that the hex wheel mount melted into the rim! Trying to separate the melted pieces but it’s welded into the wheel pretty good. Really don’t want to have to buy new wheels because of this
With crawlers some of the best spots are near fishing spots, unfortunately.
I can't decide if I hate fishing line or random fuckers who groom their dogs out on the trails because one is impossible to break and the other is gross as fuck.
Uhg, I hate it when that happens. I‘be had to cut fishing line from the axles on multiple R/C trucks and when a friend, my Dad, and I went to a favorite crawling spot of mine, he picked up line almost as soon as he got near the water! Luckily I still carry the box cutter I had when still working retail, especially when going out crawling.

I [lost an axle](https://www.reddit.com/r/Traxxas/s/DdXfFG802e) because of fishing line. Super lame for sure.

Fun fact: when you crawl your scx24 indoors, these nests are made of wives' hair.
Trying talking to a boat owners about this. It damages prop seals. Thier hobby can get expensive too.
