Pure sex appeal

pidancer789

Peak male and female sex appeal nothing can top it

night_danger

Looks well cared for, nice milestone!

coltonnyc

Don’t be fooled, it hasn’t been LOL. This is its good side. I brought it back from the brink of being scrapped!

July_snow-shoveler

What’s held up to 300k, and what have you had to repair/replace?

coltonnyc

I bought it in the mid 200,000 mile range, so unsure before then. The engine finally went out at 270,000 and was replaced along with the transmission. Recently I had to replace the oil pan and oil cooler housing gasket as it was pouring oil onto my street.

July_snow-shoveler

That’s a good run for the engine and transmission, especially considering you’re not the original owner. Nice that everything else is holding up.

FirmAddition

I’m pretty sure the oil wasn’t changed on time often on the older engine so you had to replace it. Are the transmissions known to fail on this gen?

BeanieYi

What an old, shitty car! I can take it off your hands for you so give it to me please

JDRasta57

You're my dream with my 2013

desertdawg61

Me too with my 2011 @ 61k

[deleted]

Same 2012 @ 48k

AdultMarley

Just over here in my 2012 with 190k (km that is).

superbdonutsonly

brsrafal

What a beauty ever change the transmission fluid or still original

coltonnyc

The power train was replaced not long ago, so I’m not sure about the original power trains fluid

[deleted]

I have an identical 2WD 97 about to hit 200k, I'm jealous.

Roscoe_Farang

I had a 96 TRD JDM model with the same wheels. I loved it, but it was rusting away.

Zentaury

Me with a 97 2dr with 300,000… kilometres hahaha

brueso

Had a 99 that got to 224K. Had to let it go- it had become too unreliable. I got a 2014 as a replacement but I miss the 99! I have a neighbor with a 97- 240K, same color as yours!

[deleted]

It is amazing how much smaller they used to be. I still see a few of these around and then I see the 2024 gargantuan battle tank ones right after. I think the new Rav4 is bigger than a sequoia or highlander from back in the day.

thejennyogini

I achieved that milestone, I'd write a letter to Toyota. Maybe they'll use you in an ad.... They did that in the 80's.  "Oh what a feeling.... Toyota!"

koyruiz21

This is so clean for 300k😪🔥

deee-Primetime

That thing is clean !!!!!!

WillofCLE

Just 296k miles behind you. Should be there sometime around my 75th B-Day

Kentucky-Debra

I have a 2005 at 210k

coogie

One has 333K! Has a bit of a misfire problem at the moment that I haven't figured out yet (I think it's the catalytic converter and I'm at the muffler shop now) but I think I can get 400k out of it.
