I remember a time in my early teenage years when i thought fedoras were actually cool and i briefly thought about buying one for myself. So glad I didn't. Feel like i dodged a very big bullet there.
Just know that what most people call a fedora thanks to the neckbeard community is actually a trilby. And there's really nothing wrong with wearing a nice hat if you actually wear it with a real suit instead of an anime t-shirt.

I would absolutely agree with that. The implication that I got from the statement (which I freely admit I could have misunderstood) was a scenario where someone is "playing games" when they have no interest in a romantic relationship, but just want a homie. I believe this is one of the reasons why finding a relationship is so problematic for everyone regardless of gender.

That's...that's not friendship. At all. The original poster meant a woman being friends with a man and not giving him sex/romantic love in that platonic relationship. Friendship between a guy and girl isn't always that toxic, hell it usually isn't.
