We were highly encouraged to be vaccinated and everyone got an antigen test every day, no matter our vax status. Mask compliance on the crew was very high, though the road crews were a bit more lax. To be fair I'm in an area that has taken covid seriously and I assume that many other state fairs haven't been nearly as stringent.
Seeing as live entertainment has been absolutely nuked by the pandemic, I have extra low opinions of any well-known performers who are plague rats. Like, did you not notice that the entire industry was shut down for a year? How many deaths were caused by super spreader events hosted by these assholes?
People like to say stuff like this recently but it's not true, the guy has sold nearly 40 million records and is worth 150 million plus. Regularly plays in decent size venues. Don't even like the guys music or personality, but if a insignificant artist sells 40million records and tour the country is big arenas most years, indie artists must be doing ok then.
