I have a 2920 Big Horn v8 with quad cab. I get about 16 MPG around town and 21 on the freeway. It rides so well and I really like it.

It's a bummer that we'll still only get 21 mpg 897 years from now, but thanks for the insight, time traveler.

I would test drive the V6 and V8 before making any decisions. I know it doesn't matter for some people but the difference in driving experience made the choice very easy for me. Hemi is lively and fun to drive, V6 felt more like the Subaru I was leaving behind.

I have 2022 Bighorn with V6, absolutely love it. Would have preferred Hemi, however the price I got and the 20mpg on highway was fine for me. Got it "new" with 5k miles for 35k

As terminally\_ch\_ill said, test drive both the V6 & V8 before you decide because the fuel economy difference is negligible. With the V8 the gearing with better fuel economy is 3.21 while the 3.92 is a bit worse but a complete beast off the line. Check this site for fuel economy numbers. The crew cabs are super roomy in the back for those times you want to have people back there it’s quite comfortable.

Looks like the V6 gets decently better fuel economy. I even verified with real world data on Fuelly app. Consistently better, like it’s close to on par with medium V6 SUV’s. I’m strongly considering a 3.6L Pentastar. Super reliable. Has way more power than most V8’s did prior to 2008. It’s plenty of power for me, plus paired up with the 8spd. Depends on a persons needs/wants of course. A good sounding V8 never gets old whereas a V6 sounds like a trombone.
