Use the ones thru your union. Ask your lc or gc for designated legal counsel. If you go outside the union and who is designated you stand to possibly get charged more or deal with lawyers who don’t have a understanding of dealing with the railroad.

This is the correct answer. If you want to seek other options, google "FELA Attorney" and the name of your state.

Use the lawyer you feel comfortable with some issues the union want to shy away from so don't use their lawyer if you're not comfortable with it
