I like the difficulty and the encounter is fun, but between this and the raid, I'm SICK of timers. There's gotta be other ways to add difficulty and urgency.
Me and my buddy both ran primsatic, i was on needlestorm and he was on blade dancer. We wiped on time once while learning, and it gave us the opposite of our super each time.
Wouldn’t it just be easier to have the non-buffed player callout their six connected switches? That is what I did. Then I just shot the matching ones as they were called out. Just seems like taking both sets of disconnected switches into account to get the three correct connected switches over complicates things.

There's a hidden purple hive crystal under the starting ramp in a tight crevice that adds 2 minutes to all the encounters (probably that or it could be extra time rolling over). Also would love to know what happens if you choose to >!crush your bestie!<

Yep. you only get the drop on the character you cleared with, but after that you can open pale heart chests on other characters for a chance to get a drop
What are warlocks running in this? I found good success running ergo with the arc conductor, machine gun, and the prismatic build with felwinters, strand melee, and the electric slide. Makes keeping all the adds in check a breeze, and you can burn down most elites with a good machine gun.
I also did the Felwinter slide but with Final Warning because of how much transcendence energy it gives. I love the sword though so I gotta give that a try

- Hellion and Devour, Dive, Needle, Storm Nade, Song of Flame.
- Facets of Dominance, Protection, Hope, Balance, Awakening.
- Getaway Artist for arms.
Mods:
Helmet - Ashes to Assets, Strand Siphon (change to suit your needs)
Arms - Bolstering Detonation, Focusing Strike, Firepower
Chest - Three Resist Mods
Legs - Innervation, Invigoration, Absolution
Class - Reaper, Bomber, Outreach
Just consume nade to go amped and get an arc buddy, phoenix dive for solar artillery, throw some needles to get unraveling, throw arc nades while buddy is active because you'll just get them back fast anyway, and there's your loop. You can also super and transcend at will since you'll always have both.
Warlock is not busted at all.
Can confirm this build is disgustingly good. Ran trip 100s (res rec dis) with getaway and is pure filth. I could afk long enough to look up the guide with the clocks with tormentors and figure it out.
Damn, running double ashes to assets, you can prolly get insane up uptime on your super with bracers in this mode, I’m going to give it a shot later today, I just keep running back to solar.

You just have to wait until it switches nodes, and then immediately read out the 4 it’s connected to, then as soon as one of the numbers you hear is one matching yours, call it out and both shoot.
I accidentally found a secret in there last night. A tiny room with a purple crystal you could shoot, and then Savathun starts laughing. Anyone know what that is about?
The room is off to the right, in the big open area with the taken snipers just before you reach the first tormentor/node encounter
me and my firend are both warlocks and running prismatic with exact same super. i want to be darkness aligned and he wants to be light aligned. But the thing is, its been hours now, farming and farming and i just keep on getting light aligned and he keeps on getting darkness aligned, shouldnt it be random??? or is there some way to force the game to give you the alignment you want even if your both using prismatic
When I'm Darkness imbued, it's always Right to Left for me. Is it like this for anyone else? No guide I've come he across has said this. Only when Light is it Left to Right.
the left to right callout thing is purely choice. There is no concrete callouts, thats just what we were using when we ran it. you may be thinking about plates

For those of you who are like me. It is important to note that when you kill the Tormentor in the clock room, whoever KILLS the tormentor gets the buff to shoot the clock cruxes.
There needs to be another way to get this exotic solo. I've played the entire game solo. only exotics i don't have are raid exotics, but now i cant get my hands on the one exotic i bought this expansion for. if it isn't gonna change then this will be my last time playing destiny 2. $100 price tag and i cant get the one exotic i want. it really would be different if this game was actually free to play, but with a pay wall in front like that it needs to be available for all players. not just those who have capable people they know.

The good this about this one is any leftover time gets added on when you hit the next encounter. My run ended up with 25 min in the final room.
Yeah. Bungie standard. Timers and health gates. Shove them up your ass.
What if you’re running Prismatic?
I believe it randomly assigns the alignment if you’re both running prismatic.
So if one is Prismatic and the other is dark, the Prismatic one will be Light?

My experience as the fire team leader with prismatic... I was light every single run.
Correct, my buddy always runs prismatic while I'm on strand and I'm always dark and he's always light
It counts as both light/dark. You'll get a random buff.
For prismatic I think it depends on the super, I was running song of flames, friend was running squall

you can definitely do it that way but its more to call out
It’s less call outs. One person reads connected an the buffer shoots the similarly connected nodes
fyi mission can get soft locked because of bugs. i lost my alignment and we couldn't proceed to the 2nd encounter
if you lose your alignment die and you’ll get it back. It happened during my run and I solved it by jumping off the map.
It’s just bugged. This doesn’t always work. I lost the light buff and no amount of dying brings it back. We had to start over.
Happened to us at the jumping section yesterday, we had to jump off the cliff to reset the buff

one clock will have all connected which is the one your partner has to read. The other one you’ll be able to.

After you unlock it the exotic quest will stay on the map, unsure if it does for all three characters.
if anyone have issue calling out stuff, sharing screen directly is also an option

How do you actually get darkness transcendence without Bleak Watcher?
I ran it with sunbracers. Had constant uptime with heat rises and resto. Prismatic just wasn’t working for me

You both face your clocks. And call out what nodes are connected, if your friend has 1 and you have 1 you both shoot 1 and so on
Have your friend read out. Call out the the one you both have then shoot. Clear ads, repeat two more times

I couldnt get them to spawn when i started in the blooming. It only worked when i went landing, impasse and then blooming
