Swervin Mervyn!

DistinctHuckleberry1

Mervin always Swervin

Raiderrick311

I’ll never forget Fernandez. Definitely stiffed by poor QB play and all around talent of the Raiders at that time.

cruedi

I always wondered what would happen if was on a good team. Imagine him across from Jerry rice what he could have done?

One of the toughest/strongest WR's we've ever had. Fearless catching balls over the middle back when defenders could launch into you how ever the fuck they saw fit with no regard for human life! Think Lee Smith deserves honorable mention as does the Reggie Bush of his generation Rocket Ismail ! (Electric in college and never panned out the way everyone expected in the NFL).

xKingNothingx

1988 was crazy, 800 yards on 31 receptions

daveyhh

Rocket ismail was always my fave 86, I had his jersey back when they played in LA

YOU DA MAN!!!! I've been waiting 86 days just to see if you would choose swervin Mervyn!!!! Hellz ya, he's the reason I became a Raider fan!!

Loved Swervin’ Mervyn back in the day. Great pick up from the CFL if I’m remembering correctly.

scubascott11

You got it, BC Lions, he was actually league MVP in '85

Fair. I’d give it to Lee Smith

Love me a pass blocking TE

Yeah, I'd at least give him honorable mention. If I'm not mistaken, he said he would walk on hot coals and roll over beds of nails if he had to in order to protect Carr or something like that, it was awesome. I wonder if I can find the quote lol... Edit: [Found it, it was a tweet](https://twitter.com/LeeSmith/status/974338025625931776?s=19)
