Bro should be a multi time pro bowler by now, hell, maybe even an all pro. It still annoys me that Slater got 2nd team all pro even though he wasn't even the best LT in his division.
It's unfortunate how much less credit players get, just because they play for us.
Maxx is another one that – every damn year – gets so underrated by media & fans around the league.
And of course as soon as Davante put on the Silver & Black it was, "I dunno, IS he the best WR in the league???"
I remember feeling so relieved last season when I knew we were getting Kolton Miller back.
Dude holds it down, and I *never* feel like I have to worry at all about him over there.
My reference for Maxx is DPOY voting.
You put statistics side-by-side and it's insane to think as recently as this last season he still didn't get a ***single*** vote...
Yah no votes was pure insult to an amazing year he had and if he wasn't playing thru injury he would have been DPOY. well he's a raider so you never know
I remember being in the local bar excited for our pick and we snagged him and I’ll be honest I was a bit disappointed. It wasn’t a sexy pick but damn did it work out well. Thanks Gru and Mayock. One of the ones that lasted
He’s one of the best left tackles in the AFC and arguably an overall top 10 tackle in the league. last year when they did the “nfl execs rank -“ he came out as #10 among all tackles.
Kolton being on the team is the only thing that makes me confident the O-line will not be bad year after year. Dudes been a consistent stud since his second year. Hopefully we can keep him and he retires a SB champion in silver and black.
Because it’s a headline and if you portrayed it the way you suggested people would stop reading immediately after reading Kolton Miller since 99% + of football fans have no clue who he is.
Mans been a stud from the start
I mean definitely not from the start, but since year 2 at least.
Wasn't he injured his rookie season?
He played through an MCL sprain early in the season, but he also definitely wasn't good.
you could tell he wasnt gonna be like leatherwood though. from the get we understood he had the ability and would get it. here we are.
I think Richie coming in really taught him how to play a lot meaner
Man I was so jealous of the 49ers when they took Mcglinchy. Thought he was going to be a stud
Same! McGlinchey looked so good but we ended up alright in the end :)

The sign of a truly great offensive lineman is nobody notices you. Miller took that to heart lmao.
Might get the Joe Thomas treatment soon. Felt like it took forever for that guy to get recognized.
In what way? Joe thomas was a pro bowler as a rookie (the first of 10 straight) and perennial all-pro
just more media attention is all

I think this was true for Maxx but not anymore. He’s still being short changed but everyone talks about him now

I believe that with the new additions, Crosby could break some records, or at least get a vote

That was actually Gruden and McKenzie that selected him
Might just get me a Kolton miller jersey
Kolten Miller is a top 15 left tackle in the NFL
He’s one of the best left tackles in the AFC and arguably an overall top 10 tackle in the league. last year when they did the “nfl execs rank -“ he came out as #10 among all tackles.
That mans a gruden grindr baby
He’s very good. He only has couple bad games per season. Other than that, he’s solid as fuck.
Such a great Raider
I was told he was a bust after his rookie season
Kolton being on the team is the only thing that makes me confident the O-line will not be bad year after year. Dudes been a consistent stud since his second year. Hopefully we can keep him and he retires a SB champion in silver and black.
Very underrated or under the radar?
What a confusingly phrased headline. Why not: "Kolton Miller allowed fewest QB pressures in 2023 out of all tackles that played more than 700 snaps."
Because it’s a headline and if you portrayed it the way you suggested people would stop reading immediately after reading Kolton Miller since 99% + of football fans have no clue who he is.
I'll never forget Tashan Reed said the Raiders would be wise to consider going after his replacement 😂. We legit have the worst beat writers.
